User Roles Explained
Super Administrator
The Super Administrator user role is reserved for CourseVector technicians. This user may not be removed.
Administrator
The Administrator user roll can share a database, manage users’ access, edit their profiles and change security control settings, and make programming changes.
Editor
An Editor can manage and view data/information. Access to data can be limited by table and/or field. The Editor role can be an External User.
Subscriber
A Subscriber is identical to an Editor, however, access to date is usually more restricted. The Subscriber role uses an External User Pack.
Public User
Public users can view your database without having to log in. They have read-only access to allow data.Â
*An external user pack allows for an unlimited amount of users. An External User may have any combination of permissions except Setup. Setup permissions, which allows changes to programming as well as adding and modifying users, cannot be granted to an External User.
