RCM Software Implementation & Solutions Specialist

Location: Paducah, KY

Type: Full-Time, In-Person

At CorrecTek, we deliver powerful, customizable EHR solutions for demanding healthcare environments, from juvenile detention and behavioral health to our primary market in correctional facilities. We understand the unique needs of organizations serving marginalized populations, and we provide them with the essential tools they need. We are looking for an approachable, detail-oriented professional to ensure our clients succeed with our technology. As a Client Services Specialist, you will be the expert guide for our partners, leading them through onboarding, training, and ongoing support. Your role is critical to building lasting relationships and empowering clients to leverage our platform with confidence.

We are looking for an experienced medical billing or revenue cycle professional who wants to expand beyond day-to-day billing into software implementation, workflow optimization, and operational consulting.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Implementing Billing Functionality:

Support onboarding and implementation of billing functionality for new clients.

Configuring and Validating Billing Workflows:

Assist with billing workflow setup, configuration, validation, and optimization.

Supporting Revenue Cycle Operations:

Provide operational support for claims-processing workflows, denials, reimbursement concerns, and billing workflow issues.

Training & Supporting Users:

Train and support users on billing functionality and assist users with platform navigation and operational functionality.

Troubleshooting Workflow and System Issues:

Identify and troubleshoot billing workflow issues, workflow gaps, and system issues.

Coordinating with Clients, Partners, and Internal Teams:

Work with clients, internal teams, CorrecTek’s RCM partner, and billing partners to support operational efficiency and consistency.

Supporting Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work with Product, Development, Project Management, Sales, and Client Services teams on workflow improvements, billing-related enhancements, implementations, and onboarding.

Testing and Validating Workflows:

Participate in software testing, workflow testing, workflow validation, and QA activities related to billing functionality.

Other Related Duties:

Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall client success and team objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

 3+ years of experience in Medical Billing, Revenue Cycle Management, or Healthcare Operations 

 Experience with Practice Management, EMR, or billing software systems 

 Experience participating in software implementations, PM/EMR conversions, workflow rollouts, or operational system changes 

 Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or related field 

Billing Systems & Revenue Cycle Experience:

 Strong knowledge of claims processing, reimbursements, denials, and billing workflows 

 Experience with Practice Management, EMR, or billing software systems 

 Experience participating in software implementations, PM/EMR conversions, workflow rollouts, or operational system changes 

 Exposure to workflow optimization, systems support, QA/testing, or operational change management 

Skills & Attributes

Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally

Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment and as part of a team

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Leading Client Onboarding & Training:

Deliver comprehensive software training sessions, both remotely and on-site, for medical staff in correctional facilities. You'll guide new clients through a smooth onboarding experience.

Providing Ongoing Client Support:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients after they're onboarded, offering expert guidance and troubleshooting assistance to help users resolve issues.

Optimizing Client Workflows:

Gain a deep understanding of client workflows to recommend and apply practical solutions that enhance their use of our platform.

Fostering Internal Collaboration:

Work closely with our internal teams to ensure new clients transition well and existing ones continue to succeed.

Other Related Duties:

Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall client success and team objectives.

KEY CONSIDERATIONS FOR THIS ROLE:

Travel:

This role requires approximately 15-20% travel, with most trips lasting 4-5 days.

On-site Environment:

You should be comfortable working in environments around inmates while shadowing medical staff; direct contact with inmates isn't required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:

An Associate's degree is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred 

Previous experience in customer service, healthcare, training, or technical support.

Experience with software training is a plus.

Technical Acumen:

Strong comfort with technology and software, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Ability to quickly learn new systems and explain them clearly to others.

Skills & Attributes:

Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to present and lead interactive group sessions.

Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
