This is an excellent course and I will recommend it.

She presented it in a clear and concise manner without minimizing any of the material. I loved the case vignettes and actual dialogue examples that she gave.

Core Wellness courses are much more practical than many I have completed. I enjoy being able to walk away with skills that I can apply in my practice as opposed to just theories and statistics. I look forward to more courses from them.

The instructor was very skilled, the information was presented in a direct, easy to understand manner. I don't regularly use play therapy in my practice, but I still found the information easy to understand and useful.

The instructor presented the topic of child protection versus parental rights, and subsequently child right, and grandparent rights in a very interesting and engaging manner. She gave a thorough lesson of how various court cases have shaped these rights over time. Ethics and law in therapy is not always the most engaging topic and yet I found the topic/course fascinating and am curious to take similar courses given by this instructor in the future.

Rather than the instructor using this as primarily a base to elicit more trainees, or to tell her stories, she was on-point, warm, and professional, My time was very-well spent and I took away additional tools I can utilize today. Thank you!

Relatable, Reliable, Reassuring

Sitting on Zoom for two days covering theory and content can be tough, but not with this course! Dr. April is amazing. She organized and delivered this training in a way that kept me tuned in, engaged, and wanting more. She magically created a safe learning environment (VIRTUALLY, WOW!) that allowed participants to relax into her process, to ask general and individualized questions, and in the end, to feel capable of implementing sand tray therapy today! I can hardly wait! I hope to have Dr. April's skillset one day- she's inspiring.

I really enjoyed how approachable and understandable Dr. Deliberto was for this training. The information was presented in a way that I was easily able to translate what I learned into practice and was immediately able to treatment plan for patients I currently am seeing. I also was able to bookmark key information to use as needed moving forward.

I think this was one of my favorite trainings ever! I love the examples and the explanations of how to use them and why they work. This is hands on material that will help me in my daily work with clients!

The time allotted could have been increased, but due to the short nature, I was able to return to my workday without interruption. Her resources are great and I am planning to purchase the workbooks that she recommended. I am looking forward to next week's training as well.

I found myself walking away with a higher understanding of translating case conceptualization to treatment planning through the framework of the therapeutic powers of play. Presenter presented the history of OCD and the original therapy of ERP for OCD. Then the presenter covered ACT and IFS as a way to layer other therapies to help these clients with OCD. I appreciated the presenter's depth of knowledge of all three therapies, and addressed clients' potential resistance to just ERP and I appreciated the value of acceptance and compassion that helps these clients work through OCD. I also appreciated all the practical examples which landed the information.

The suicide assessments.

As a seasoned LCSW, I learned a lot completing this training. I wished I had it at the beginning of my career. I plan to use a lot of the interventions in my practice as I have a lot of anxious children due to COVID. If you have bought or use Liana Lowenstein books in your therapy practice, taking her courses can help you see the interventions and psychoeducation in action. Highly recommend!

This was the clearest, most well-organized and comprehensive training I've seen that addresses teens' behaviors in the context of developmental needs and what is occurring in their brains that make their behaviors make sense (and what to do when the behaviors are problematic). Excellent presentation!

This has been the best training I have had the chance to attend. The moderator and presenters were knowledgeable and great to see so many ways that play therapy can be used and incorporated as well as the ideas that each brought to the table were stunning.

This training was great, all very much aligned with my practice and was trauma informed and attachment based. It was an extremely useful training, and it was very gracious to offer it to us free of charge. I can't wait to integrate what I've learned into my practice.

This training balances emphasis on the basics of online therapy with children and specific and useful interventions that can be done via telehealth with children. The interventions provided can be used with a wide array of focus/concentration abilities and a variety of symptoms/diagnoses. They are both fun to help with engagement, and grounding to help with kids who are easily amped up or dysregulated by physically active interventions. I appreciate the variety of interventions and that many of them can be implemented both via telehealth and in person.

This course is a gem. I learned so much from it about working effectively with couples from IFS perspective. Dr. Tropper is a very knowledgeable and engaging presenter. This workshop is a must for therapists who work with couples.

I've attended all 3 of the Welcome to the Playborhood trainings and I love them so much. It is great to learn new ways to bring play therapy to my work. I enjoy the multiple perspectives from around the world.

This training is a great way to get the hours required by APT for seminal and historical theories in play therapy for the RPT certification. It is thorough and concise.

There were so many interesting techniques that I heard about during this training. It was great to hear from so many experts and to learn about so many different techniques used with children, teens and families. I am not doing direct therapy right now but thought it would be interesting to hear about some of the techniques that are being used. It was very enlightening. Please continue to offer this training.

I would rate this webinar as excellent. Liana was engaging and informative. She kept the presentation interesting and lively, finding a good balance between presenting didactic material and engaging us with interactive activities. The webinar was jam packed with creative, useful information that I feel quite comfortable integrating quickly into my work with children.

This is the 2nd Playborhood event I have attended, and each time I have been truly inspired and leave eager to try some of the new interventions I learned. I love hearing from clinicians from all over the world and to see how Liana has drawn everyone together to create this engaging forum. It was a really good course and it provided good information. I really benefited from the personal examples used by Joseph to help bring new light to ethical dilemmas.

This training was tremendously useful. I always walk away from away from Ms. Hartstein's trainings with tons of new ideas and this was no exception. Today my notes include 60 interventions that I can use with my clients, and I'm so excited to try them out! I also love how she weaves together a variety of play therapy modalities -- her training is focused on CBT but includes dramatic play, music, games, art, role play, narrative tools, bibliotherapy, and more. I highly recommend this training!

The Playborhood is a fantastic training. I came away with immediate and relevant interventions to use with children and families both in person or via telehealth. I now can breath fresh content into my teletherapy sessions with very useful prescriptive techniques from play therapists from all over the world.

The trainer discussed self awareness of this topic and how to make long term beneficial changes in this area.

Excellent clinical review of eating disorder treatment using FBT, IMT. Explained clearly from the medical and psychological viewpoint the severity and complexity of treating eating disorder clients, and reinforced the necessity of this specialization due to the lethality of this population.

Liana is always engaging from the very beginning of the training. Totally wonderful!

I really enjoyed learning about IFS and how to integrate it into my practice with couples as well as individuals. IFS contains a lot of what I have been looking for in addressing how we can release ourselves from the pain of our pasts and heal from those childhood hurts and trauma that impact us all. The presentation was straightforward, concise and informative. It left me feeling like this is something that I can do and be good at. I look forward to advanced training in this area.

The presenter took delicate living habits of ASD and helped normalize them, to understand others' needs.

Great instructor with engaging style. Helpful to discuss ways to use multiple form of therapy such as ACT & IFS to help clients achieve success with ERP work. An integrative approach to OCD treatment can help to reach clients that may otherwise find exposure/response prevention too overwhelming.

Best online interactive training I have had. I usually try to go in person but this training makes me rethink my option of online trainings. I felt more involved than I have been in some in person trainings. The presenter was very knowledgeable and engaging.
