The program features a very simple and intuitive interface that makes it very easy for anyone to pick a damaged file, restore it and open it for editing in CorelDRAW. It requires no special skills or knowledge and can be efficiently used by users of all levels. With this tool installed on your PC, you have a fairly high chance of restoring even severely damage processed files and can potentially save an ample amount of time and money.
All you need to do to complete the recovery process is to follow simple instructions and progress towards the final step of the wizard where the drawing will be repaired and passed to CorelDRAW for further editing or saving. IMPORTANT: in order for the program to work correctly, CorelDRAW must be installed on your computer by the time you start the recovery process. Recovery Toolbox for CorelDraw does not save repaired data to a file, but rather passes it directly to CorelDRAW. The program also does not modify the damaged source file and works with its copy to prevent further damage or modification of the original.
This manual contains detailed instructions on using the program for quick recovery of CorelDRAW *.cdr files. Please read it completely before contacting our support service, as it may already contain an answer to your question. If it doesn't, please feel free to contact us for help.
- File selection
- Preview of recoverable content
- Passing the file to CorelDRAW
- Recovery log
- Other program features and commands
Recovery Toolbox for CorelDraw is based on a simple wizard that almost completely automates the recovery process. Your involvement is minimal and limited to specifying the name and path of the damaged file and clicking a couple of confirmation buttons. The program does everything else automatically. The recovery process consists of the following steps:
This first step lets you select the file you want to restore. This can be done in 3 ways. First of all, you can type the file name and path into the input field located in the center of the program window. You can also click a small icon to the right of the input field to open the standard Windows open file dialog. Finally, you can select one of the previously used *.cdr files from a dropdown list that can be opened by clicking a small button with a downward arrow in the right part of the input field. Once you've specified the file name and location, proceed to the next step by clicking Next at the bottom of the window. The program will prompt you if you really want to continue and will start the recovery process after your confirmation.
2. Preview of recoverable content
The second step of the wizard allows you to preview the drawing stored in the damaged file. Zoom in and out of the drawing using + and - keys or the mouse wheel. To move the image, left-click anywhere in the preview area and move the mouse without releasing the button. The right mouse button opens a context menu that lets you select the preferred navigation mode - Zoom or Move. If you can't see the image because of your manipulations (e.g excessive zoom), use the View - Reset view command to back to the initial view and re-focus on the image.
3. Passing the file to CorelDRAW
Recovery Toolbox for CorelDraw does not save repaired drawings to a file, but passes them directly to CorelDRAW for editing and saving in the necessary format. As mentioned above, CorelDRAW must be installed on your computer for the program to work correctly. If it's not, Recovery Toolbox for CorelDraw will skip this step and show a recovery log with a corresponding error text.
If you have several versions of CorelDRAW installed on your computer, the program will suggest choosing the one that the file data will be exported to.
This is the final step of the wizard containing a log of this recovery session. You can now finish working with the program and click the Finish button to exit or go back with the help of the Back button and choose another file for recovery.
Other program features and commands
Two more useful commands can be found in the Actions menu: Send source file and Clear file list. The former enables you to send the damaged file to the program developers if Recovery Toolbox for CorelDraw fails to restore it for some reason (the same can be done by clicking the Send file to developers button in the lower part of the program window on the content preview and recovery log steps). The Clear file list command clears the list of previously used files and their paths.
If you know the version of the *.cdr file you want to recover data from, use the CDR Version menu to choose it and make file recovery faster and more accurate. If you are not sure about the version of the file, use the Auto detect option and let Recovery Toolbox for CorelDraw detect the version on its own.
As you see, using Recovery Toolbox for CorelDraw just couldn't be easier. If you have a CorelDRAW file that was damaged on your hard drive or was corrupted during an interrupted download, this great piece of software will solve this problem in style and will help you get back to work as soon as possible, thus saving you time, money and possibly a fair deal of nerve.

Scenario 1: Technical Support Included with Purchase
- Purchasing the full version of Recovery Toolbox for CorelDraw might grant you access to technical support for a specific period (one year).
- After that year, renewing your license would be necessary to continue receiving technical support.
- This renewal might include an additional fee, or it could be bundled with updates to the software itself.
Scenario 2: Separate Technical Support Options
- The vendor might offer technical support as a separate service, independent of the software license renewal.
- You can purchase technical support for a specific duration (e.g., per incident or annual subscription) without renewing your software license.
Here's how to determine which scenario applies:
- Check the Recovery Toolbox for CorelDraw website for their technical support page.

The registered full version of Recovery Toolbox for CorelDraw for Windows offers several advantages over the online service (even though the online version boasts of working across various devices):
Advanced Recovery Capabilities:
- Deeper Repair: The full version, installed directly on your Windows machine, might leverage more powerful processing than the online service. It can translate to tackling complex file corruption and potentially salvaging more data from heavily damaged .cdr files.
- Offline Processing: Unlike the online service, which relies on an internet connection, the full version works offline. It can be crucial if you're dealing with sensitive data or if you have a limited or unreliable internet connection.
- No File Size Restrictions: The online service might have limitations on the size and complexity of files it can process. The full version, running on your local machine, can handle much larger and more intricate CorelDraw files.
Security and Privacy:
- Reduced Risk of Data Exposure: Uploading your corrupt CorelDraw files to an online service introduces a potential security risk. With the full version, your files remain on your local machine, minimizing the possibility of unauthorized access.
- Confidentiality of Sensitive Data: If your CorelDraw files contain sensitive or confidential information, you might hesitate to upload them to an online service. The full version allows you to keep your data secure on your computer.
Usability and Performance:
- Faster Processing: Recovery speeds can be significantly faster with the full version installed locally than relying on an online service's servers, especially if you have a good internet connection.
- No Dependence on Internet Connectivity: As mentioned before, the full version works offline, eliminating dependence on an Internet connection. It is particularly advantageous if you work in a location with unreliable internet access.
- Advanced Features: The full version might offer additional features unavailable in the online service, such as the ability to save and load recovery projects for later use.
Here are some additional considerations:
- Cost: While the online service might seem convenient due to its device accessibility, the full version might be a more cost-effective solution in the long run, especially if you need to recover corrupt CorelDraw files frequently.
- Technical Support: Purchasing the full version might grant you access to technical support from the software vendor, which can be invaluable if you encounter difficulties during recovery.
In conclusion, if you prioritize advanced recovery capabilities, security, faster processing, and access to additional features, the registered full version of Recovery Toolbox for CorelDraw for Windows offers significant advantages over the online service. However, if device portability and avoiding software installation are your top concerns, the online service might be a suitable alternative, keeping in mind its potential limitations.

Customer's reviews and ratings:
ok
nice
The program does not work if the normal CorelDraw is not installed.
I had to do a refund.
And then I had to upload the file to the service.
Couldn't you have written about it right away?
Great program.
Toooo long time recovery process: I wait 21 hours. But result was good: 80-90%% was fixed.
Oh god, I need this program !! How have I not met him before? Damn, you can't even imagine how you helped me out, right the day before the deadline!
Very convenient and faster service, I didn't even need to install the program. Online recovery showed a satisfactory result for the repaired file.
In my repaired CorelDraw x3 file, some shapes in which the gradient was used were filed with a solid color. Otherwise, all elements are in place.
There is too little information at the step where the program offers to view the contents of the repaired file. For example, it was important for me that the elements of the demaged image were on their layers.
CorelDraw 12 is not showing my drawing. After correcting the .CDR file, I managed to get only 90% of the drawing.
I got a problems with a drawings being drawn in CorelDraw x5. Since CorelDraw no longer supports this version, I thought I would now struggle with virtual systems in order to open it in CorelDraw x5 on Windows 7 or XP, until I came across your site. After correcting errors in the file, it immediately became operational and the drawing opened already in CorelDraw 2019
Excellent function, before buying a license, the program shows a part of the fixed drawing. As a result, after the purchase from me, all the shapes in my .cdr file were repaired
When I selected the corrupted .CDR file, I got scared because most of my shapes were not showing in the preview. But after fixing the file, the problem was resolved - in recovered drawing I see all shapes.
While CorelDraw is trying to save the drawing, it makes this file corrupt. After it turned out that the plugin caused this error. The recovery process took a long time and restored only 80% of my work
When I am opening the .CDR file in CorelDraw, it's showing a blank drawing. This happened after I tried to save the .CDR document, but something went wrong and CorelDraw hung.
The program helped to get back the saved version of the .CDR document. My drawing has been restored with some changed parameters.
The file was damaged when saving, thanks to the preview, I found the desired file from the cache and restored it, but in the preview it is slightly different from the restored file. The program fixes the errors of the damaged CorelDraw 11 file, but in the output you can get a slightly different result from the preview, for example, some elements became huge.
After recovering the .CDR files from the hard drive in CorelDraw x5, a dialog box appears with the error "the file does not open on CorelDraw." It’s good that in the demo version you can see the contents of the file, for this you get 5 stars. Unfortunately, in the list of .CDR files recovered from the hard drive, my file was not found.
The online repair service CorelDraw helped repair my project CorelDRAW X8. But I waited 4 hours.
This utility helps to repair my CorelDraw 1Gb file. Thanks!
I supposed my .cdr files were corrupted to forever. Recovery Toolbox for CorelDRAW changed my mind.
Now I can see my coreldraw images which were lost only couple minutes ago. It's unbelievable!!!!!
