Core Element

Core Element is an action and strategy game in real time where you play the leader of an intergalactic fleet and have to face dozens of different threats from every corner of the galaxy. Aliens, smugglers, combat robots... you'll encounter all kinds of enemies.

Core Element's combat system is similar to that of a tower defense... except without towers. Your protagonist, who's itching to fight, moves though the setting followed by his combat ship. So, your job consists of aiming where you want your ship to shoot and using your special abilities at the correct moments. If the enemy units are able to get passed your defenses, you'll lose the battle.

Between missions you can upgrade your units, get different abilities, and even recruit new troops. Also, you'll have to make important decisions on certain occasions, like if you want to spare an enemy's life or execute them.

Core Element is a game with very original gameplay and very good graphics. And if its long history mode weren't enough, the game also includes a PvP mode where you can face off against other players' armies.
