Removed Coptic translation of the part before the 41 Lord have mercy as it is not found in older texts. 7. After careful study of the text of the ninth-hour absolution we found many grammatical issues in the Coptic text of the second half. After reviewing many sources we found the Coptic text did not exist in any old books or manuscripts. The only available book with the Coptic text did not cite a source and it appears more likely the text was translated from the Arabic text. Therefore, we opted to remove the Coptic text for the second half of the absolution, rather than translate it from Arabic to Coptic, for sake of authenticity and respect for our Liturgical texts. 1.16 05/18/2021 1.
