Cool Timer offers many interesting features and configurable options. For example, when working in countdown mode you can set the countdown time for up to 1000 hours and activate a visual indicator of the time elapsed. Besides, the program includes multiple funny sounds for you to select and to be played when the alarm or countdown goes off. You can also select your own MP3 or WAV file for this purpose though, and you can even use the program to record sounds using a microphone. Additionally, you can set the program to show a customized message, in a scrolling LED style, to go with the configured sound.
But there are even more helpful features in this tool. For example, Cool Timer can wake up your PC from hibernation mode and/or unmute your system automatically when the alarm is about to sound. Besides, you can set an application to be launched or a document or webpage to be opened automatically when the alarm goes off.
