Cookies Christmas lights is a multi-location company across southeast Michigan. Owned by two brothers who's goal is to create great working opportunities for the employees they hire. Below are some things we have implemented to make lives better.
Our company is different, here are things we did to stand out.
Pay for Performance
Pay for Performance is a way to pay the employee working on the job more, if they work harder. It rewards the hard workers by paying them a % of the labor revenue assigned to the job.
Family Holidays
We give the whole company a paid vacation on the day that an immediate family member has a birth or a death. We celebrate with them, and mourn with them.
Bonuses
Each location shares the profits with ALL the employees at every quarter.
Career Growth
Each tech has the opportunity to grow to a GM position, with increased salary and profit sharing.
Paid time off
We give all of our crews Christmas time off and February off to prepare for landscaping season, and to have time off for the family time of the year!
Company gatherings
We have a multi-location gathering at the end of the 4th quarter to celebrate our victories together! We also have each location plan a monthly company gathering to keep team morale high.
Safety First
We train all of our crews in proper safety for roofs and boom lift use, making sure we prioritize that they make it home safe and sound every day
Ease of use software
We tested dozens of software to find the easiest and most robust to use for our team, because clunky software stinks.
Community give back
We require each location to do at least one volunteer event with the team, giving back to those who need it more
