This update represents the state of the art in AI technology and offers significantly more stable data acquisition. It is characterised by improved resilience against false detections and enables more precise detection of movements, especially in the peripheral areas.

The force vector is shown directly in the dashboard after recording. All that’s required is a straightforward calibration using two reference points on the starting line, along with the input of block spacing and footrest angle.
Installation Guide
This step-by-step guide will help you download and install the new TEMPLO® version 2026 on your computer.
- Log in to the customer center with your login credentials.
- Click on Download and unpack the zip compressed file.
- Double click the Contemplas.Templo.Setup.exe on your PC and update the modules in TEMPLO®. The previous version will be uninstalled automatically while all personal data retains on the PC.
- You are now up to date. Start your analysis.

New Design
The new TEMPLO® version appears in a new design that offers users a fresh look – a proven product with a new coat of paint.
The visual update for the latest version of TEMPLO® brings a refreshing aesthetic to the software. In particular, the introduction of our new CONTEMPLAS blue colour gives the whole user experience a modern and appealing touch. Furthermore, some buttons and controls have undergone a visual overhaul to make user interaction even more intuitive and seamless.
Markerless tracking - new AI
A state-of-the-art, completely revised neural network has been developed that takes markerless tracking to a new level. This update represents the state of the art in AI technology and offers significantly more stable data acquisition. It is characterised by improved resilience against false detections and enables more precise detection of movements, especially in the peripheral areas. In addition, it offers improved detection of movements in the deep squat, which is particularly important for the Counter Movement Jump, Squat Jump and Drop Jump in the TEMPLO® Performance Analysis.
New interfaces to industry software
In addition to the existing integrations, TEMPLO® now offers seamless integration with the Rothballer inventory management software. This interface enables users of the Rothballer software to import personal data directly into TEMPLO®. This saves users from the double entry of data in both programs.
Through this integration, there can be a direct transfer of personal data from Rothballer software to TEMPLO®.
TEMPLO® automatically opens, updates the transferred personal data, and creates a new analysis.
Furthermore, there is an option to establish integration with the industry software acriba Direkt. This integration includes the transfer of customer master data directly from acriba Direkt to TEMPLO®. Users can now easily search for customer master data in acriba Direkt and transfer it directly to TEMPLO®. This functionality is available for all gait and running analyses, both with and without AI-based acquisition of body points and angles.
New hardware integration
The latest TEMPLO® version supports the integration of the wireless pressure measuring plate NX (WLAN) from Medilogic. This plate offers a flexible adaptation of the measuring surface due to its modular concept. You can combine the small and handy plate with up to 25 additional plates to expand the measuring area as needed, whether in a single row, double row, or larger surface. This flexibility enables both dynamic and static measurements of the pressure distribution synchronised with the video image in TEMPLO®. In addition, the minimal height of the plate enables mobile use and doesn’t need to be integrated into the floor.
Auto Brightness for selected camera models
With Auto Brightness, your camera settings automatically adapt to changing light conditions. This intelligent function enables your camera to automatically adjust the brightness in different lighting environments. This ensures that you can consistently take high-resolution and well-exposed shots.
Data export of raw pressure distribution data
Export the raw data of the pressure distribution measurement directly from the dashboard view. Through the pressure settings view on the right side of the dashboard, you have the option to export the raw data of recorded pressure distribution data in JSON format.
TEMPLO® Core
Definition of individual event models
In TEMPLO® Core, you have the ability to create individual event models that allow you to define your own chronological points in time. This enables you to analyse specific points in time and make quick comparisons.
Additionally, you can create multiple models to depict different movement sequences. By defining events, you can also calculate the differences between the events and compare them with each other. This allows you to analyse and evaluate the time sequences within the motion analysis in detail.

Multi-camera synchronization through PTP technology
With PTP (Precision Time Protocol) technology, GigE cameras in TEMPLO® can be synchronised at the push of a button – to the microsecond!
The prerequisite for this technology are PTP – capable cameras (or other measuring devices) and their integration into a common Ethernet network.
The use of camera synchronisation via PTP makes external hardware components superfluous and reduces the installation effort.

TEMPLO® Core
Comparison of up to 4 recordings
With the latest version, TEMPLO® Core allows you to compare up to four recordings within one analysis or up to four recordings across multiple analyses.
With a few clicks, select your recordings to compare from the access menu/ toolbar in the analysis dashboard.
In the access menu, you can select recordings from the database or use the memory function, which shows you the ten most recently used recordings that you have already compared with this recording.
- Colour categorisation
For better visual differentiation of the recordings to be compared and the associated data, the selected recordings are categorised by colour. The colour categorisation allows the different data and videos to be assigned and compared at a glance. For the comparison, select individually the data you want to compare in the dashboard, such as angles, motion paths, analogue and pressure data. - Synchronise videos manually
To ensure that the videos are in sync with each other, you can manually set the synchronisation time for each video in the timeline.
Extension of the image series in the report
Design the dashboard element “Picture series” in the report even more individually than before.
Based on the points in time you have defined in the timeline, you can insert up to 6 images from your analysis video as an image series in your report. In addition, you can decide for each image which graphic elements should be displayed overlaid in the image series.

In addition, when loading new report collections, the individual pages are loaded one after the other. This means that pages that have already been loaded can be edited and deleted while other report pages in the collection are loaded in the background. This means that you no longer have to wait until the entire collection is loaded before you can make changes to individual pages. Instead, you can start editing immediately, which saves time.

Extended recording options within an analysis
Discover the advanced recording function in gait analysis and save time.
With the advanced recording function, you no longer need to create a new analysis for each recording. Instead, you can record and save multiple recordings within the same analysis. With the new function, you can start a new recording more quickly, e.g. to test different component combinations for prostheses and compare them with each other.
Comparison of up to 4 recordings
With the latest version, you have the possibility in gait analysis to compare up to four recordings within one analysis or up to four recordings across several analyses, e.g. to make interventions or the use of technical aids measurable.
With a few clicks, you can select your recordings from the access menu/ toolbar you want to compare in the analysis dashboard.
In the access menu, you can select recordings from the database or use the memory function, which shows you the ten most recently used recordings that you have already compared with this recording.

For better visual differentiation of the recordings to be compared and the associated data, the selected recordings are categorised by colour. – Quick report: The current view of the dashboard can be added to the PDF report collection with one click. Notes and comments can be added to each page.
– Dashboard video export: The analysis is output as a video in the customised dashboard view.
– Video export: The analysis video views are exported to a video.

+ Delayed recording and analysis
In the advanced recording view, you can individually define time delays. The video recording can be displayed and recorded on the screen in live or delayed mode. Delayed recording and duplicating the video view on external monitors makes it possible to perform self-analysis or receive direct feedback.
+ Dashboard recording
Start your recordings quickly and easily with our predefined user interface (dashboard). You can also create several personal user interfaces according to your individual requirements and save them as templates. Select the data to be recorded, such as video, analog data, pressure data and EMG. These data are displayed live during the recording.
+ Dashboard analysis
Predefined analysis templates (dashboard) in TEMPLO® allows you to evaluate a recording quickly and easily. The recorded and generated data is automatically displayed. You can also design your own results according to your needs and save them as a template. Display angle and motion path, analog and pressure data and many other data. In addition to the previous angles, other angles have been integrated now, such as: shoulder axis, upper body tilt, ankle joint flexion, pelvis axis and foot axis.

+ Image enhancement in live image
By integrating various image correction algorithms in TEMPLO®, the following correction measures can be carried out in the live image:
– Brightness correction
– Gamma correction
– Colour normalisation
– Contrast stretching
The parameters set in the camera combination are adopted when the videos are played back. Subsequent (repeated) application of the colour filters is also possible.
