We originally learnt of Brightspace a few years ago on a trip to Johnstown Garden Centre as there was a small playground which our kids wanted to check out around the back and we discovered Brightspace. The first time I sat inside one of their garden rooms, the sense of peace in it was incredible. Fast forward to late last year and we went back, talked to Trish in the office and got the ball rolling with the visit from Mark and then the build started early this year. The builders turned up in the absolutely horrendous weather in February, every day, on time and did a fantastic job. Same for the frame work guys, the plumbers, electricians, plasterers. Communication from Oscar as the project manager was also excellent and done through WhatsApp mainly as requested by us. Trish and Christine in the office managed the payments very efficiently, with again really good communication. The whole job was done in about 5 weeks. I was amazed at the speed at which every part was completed, the cleaning up that was done by the workers at the end of the day and the fact that the job didn't really affect us day to day. We are delighted with our new room and the space it has given us, which was badly needed. Would highly recommend Brightspace to anyone looking for extra space in their house.

I cannot recommend this company enough. When we started our journey to figure out what could be done with our conservatory to make it a usable room, we contacted several companies. I was quite hesitant at first, as I thought improvements might not even be possible—until we reached out to Brightspace and visited their showroom.Mark was professional, friendly, and took the time to explain the entire process to us—what could be done, what might require additional work, the different materials and options available, and what the final outcome would look like. This gave us the confidence to go ahead with the investment.Communication throughout was excellent. We were kept informed at every stage about what was happening and who would be coming in and out. The survey was carried out smoothly, and we again received clear explanations and guidance (thank you, Oskar and Peter).Then came the fitting team, who transformed our old conservatory incredibly quickly—removing the old one in half a day and installing the new one in just a day and a half. It was amazing to see.After that, the plumber, electrician, and plasterers all arrived on time, left the house impeccable, and were a pleasure to deal with. All along, Oskar kept us up to date via Whatsapp, which was so confortable and handy, he was so good and dealt with all our annoying queries (thank you again Oskar!!!).I genuinely cannot fault this company in any way. I’ll update this review once we’ve fully finished decorating so you can see the final result, but already the room is no longer cold, is bright —it’s beautiful, and we couldn’t be happier.1000% recommend the team at Brightspace!

Cant recommend bright spaces enough. From the minute we first enquired about getting a room added onto our house every single person we've met and worked with has been amazing - from our first meetings with Mark who did the design, then Donal, Jack, Joe, Harry, Decky and the all the lads who built it - everyone we met did exactly what they said they would do, when they said they would do it and to the highest standards.They also put us in touch with other professionals they work with for the floors, kitchens and steel who were all also excellent.We have enough space in our home for our family now in a space we all love spending time in. We are absolutely thrilled with our new sunroom/extension. Mark, Niall and the guys in Brightspace were so professorial and obliging. We were kept constantly updated on what was happening and when. We never had to call them and we were never left wondering what was happening next, because Niall (the project manager) provided us with regular updates. They were also very tidy and respectful of our home and genuinely nice lads to deal with. I cannot recommend them highly enough and the end result was a beautiful new room that is spacious and light-filled, as you can see in the photos!

I'd 100% recommend Brightspace to anyone looking for an extension. They have decades of experience. Talking to the lads working on our extension, many of them have been with the company 20 years or more and that experience shows.They are so well organised and efficient. Our 25 square metre extension was fully completed in 2 months, and stress free which was a big bonus. One crew finished and another arrived the following day. The lads (Harry, Jimmy, Ronnie, Murt, Declan, Nigel, Joe, Jack, Steve, Peter, Stephen to name just a few) worked really hard and were very friendly and helpful.We got a really good first impression at the Showrooms in Naas where Trish was very professional.A special mention to Mark Quinn and Oskar. Mark took us through the initial design and oversaw much of the process. He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and patient. Very easy to get on well with.Oskar was fantastic at keeping us up-to-date with the build. He gave us a weekly update and had everything scheduled perfectly for a smooth building process. Stop googling and scrolling - do yourselves a huge favour and look no further than Brightspace. Our experience dealing with the lovely humans at this company has been nothing short of enlightening. Briefly, our story is that we had an almost 30 year old conservatory that had had some changes in that time (adding a "proper" roof and changing windows). But due to some poor workmanship from supposedly reputable companies - the structure had become less than stable and was letting in water. This was causing a considerable amount of stress. We had engaged various companies to "fix" the issues but nothing worked.Until we found Brightspace. From the initial consultation with Mark - who has a zen like quality about him - he put our minds at ease. We were burned out from trying to fix this issue and we needed to be able to trust a company again. Peter did a survey and he was the very first person in years to properly diagnose exactly what was wrong with our Conservatory. Our minds put at rest, we didn't hesitate in engaging the services of Brightspace.From the very beginning, there was regular interaction and consultation coordinated by Oskar (another zen Master!). The teams involved in each stage of the construction were efficient, enthusiastic, friendly and, above all, masters at their craft. It was incredible to see the work they achieved in a relatively short space of time. I would love to list everyone's name here but it would take up too much space. But thank you to every one of you for your amazing skills and knowledge.I know what it's like searching around for a company that you can trust and who will give you value for money. We recently had a sunroom upgrade by Brightspace Sunrooms. We originally employed the same company to install our conservatory 15 years ago. We decided to upgrade our conservatory by having a slated roof fitted. We found Brightspace to be excellent throughout the planning and building phases of the project. Mark was excellent from the start, designing and planning our build. Oskar kept us informed throughout by text, first checking suitability of dates, and then confirming arrival times for builders, insulation fitter, plasterers and electricians. We were also given notice of the arrival and collection of the skip. The guys left the site very clean at the end of each day and spotless at the completion of the project. If I could give brightspace 10 stars I would. They were a dream to work from start to finish, we didn't have a single negative experience. Mark in particular deserves a mention; extremely knowledgeable and patient, no question was too much. They are just an exceptionally well organised and managed team. We now have a beautiful kitchen extension, which was affordable. They also provide a very valuable list of recommendations in terms of painters, floors, kitchens etc. All of whom we used, and were all excellent. In April 2018 we had a replacement conservatory installed by Conservatory Designs, Johnstown, Naas. On completion of this project we are very satisfied by all aspects of the work carried out by a highly efficient and professional Conservatory Designs project team. This project was made easy for us resulting from our our first contact with company representative Mark Quinn , who clearly outlined the different aspects of the task in hand. The installation of the conservatory, which was overseen at all stages, was carried by very experienced staff members who took pride in their work, without any disruption to family life. Simply put, we cannot recommend Brightspace enough, they were absolutely superb from start to finish. From our first day meeting Mark who gave us invaluable input into the design of our sunroom and who was there as support throughout the building, to the last day when Niall came to sign off, everything went according to plan, in spite of weather challenges including 2 storms, snow and ice. We recently had the pleasure of having Brightspace constructing our sunroom. From start to finish the hole experience excelled in pure professionalism. Mark we can't thank enough for his help with leading us through out the hole project. The hole construction team are pure gentlemen and craftsmen which really shows in the finished project. We have a 6 month old baby and we were a bit hesitant of proceeding with the work but the team were brilliant at keeping the dust level to a standard were as if they weren't even there he even slept better with the noise which was great. Overall we are extremely happy with the extra space warmth and transformation it brought to the back of the house. We honestly can't recommend this team enough they are definitely the Michelin Star of sunrooms

From my first interaction by phone with Trish and Mark it was flawless dealing with Brightspace. Mark came to my house in Athlone and we agreed a price for removal of old Conservatory and erecting a new one. Next day Niall and Peter arrived to take measurements. A few weeks later Joe Josh and Kevin arrived to dismantle the old and erect the new. That took three days and then Fran and Jack came to plaster and fit the window boards.All these people arrived on site at the time specified by Brightspace. I cannot recommend Brightspace enough, they were fantastic to deal with. Brilliant people all round. A lot of workmen could learn a lot from them. Word is everything, and Brightspace have it.

From our first interaction with Mark at Brightspace, the whole process of designing and building our new sunroom was flawless. All tradespeople arrived on schedule, the work done was of excellent quality, and the communication from Niall, Donal, and everyone on the Brightspace team was exceptional. All queries we had were swiftly answered. We received regular phone calls from Niall to keep us informed as to when the next tradesperson would be arriving, and to check that we were happy with the work done so far. The whole building process from start to finish was like clockwork. When the build was complete, we received another call from Mark to make sure we were happy with the work. We were also given lots of advice regarding what we might consider doing with our garden after the build was complete. We are absolutely delighted with our sunroom, and we have no hesitation in recommending Brightspace to anyone who is thinking of extending their living space.

We are so delighted with our sunroom. Every single member of staff from Brightspace was exceptional in their advices, information and kindness. Our initial contact was with Mark and Christine, both full of knowledge and ideas. The builders were so clean and tidy and up for a chat and a laugh. We received a most welcome call from Niall every day to see that we were happy with how things were going and to answer all of our questions. Their external recommendations for additional work were also excellent. Special thanks to Peter for going above and beyond. We are so grateful for the extra thought he put into our build, my wife loves her new room. We couldn't recommend Brightspace highly enough.

We had wanted to increase the size of our downstairs living area with a good sized room that would evolve with our family, as a playroom, teens room and finally as a quasi dining and relaxing room.We did a lot of research and had several companies out providing quotes. However over a coffee in the Brightspace offices it became immediately clear to us that Brightspace are the experts at this, it's what they do, they have processes, controls, teams and expertise that goes beyond what we'd hoped.From signing the contract to breaking ground to the final product was very quick, very efficient and expertly handled by the Project Manager and the team. A cross functional team of experts would arrive on time and with minimal interruption to us and get the work completed.My experience was that Brightspace offer a no-surprise approach and I was fully aware of what was happening, when it would happen and anything i needed to line up.Overall my wife and I are extremely happy with the Brightspace, it's changed out home, given us far more capacity and space than we imagined and was all done on time and on budget.The picture here is just pre-fixtures but serves to illustrate to excellent work done and the fine finish.Thanks to Mark, Niall and the team for everything and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Brightspace.

I must say that the experience of dealing with Brightspace was really great.Although English is not my first language and I know nothing about house construction, Mark used his rich professional knowledge and thoughtful diagrams to make the plan of the sun room clear to me.The entire construction was carried out on schedule, Naill communicated promptly and fully during the process, and the sun room was spacious and bright after completion, which fully met my expectations.I am looking forward to enjoying the winter sunshine in it.

We bought a 1950s house that required a lot of upgrading. The sun room consisted of an old-fashioned lean too style with a "perspex" roof which made it cold during the winter and too hot during the summer and as a result , we rarely used it. After doing some research on the internet and visiting their showrooms in Johnstown, we decided to go with Brightspace Sunrooms. This proved to be a great decision.From our first appointment with Mark where a very detailed plan on the choice of windows, rooftiles, fixings, etc. was designed to the arrival of the work team, everything went as planned.Each member of the team worked efficiently. The coordination with the roofer, electrician, insulation /plasterer to the delivering of the windows and supplies went without a hitch. This was due to the project manager Niall, who at the end of each day contacted us to make sure we were happy with the progress and to let us know what was the next step.We now have a new beautifully bright sunroom that is a pleasure to use. We recently had the pleasure of having our home extended with Brightspace and we are delighted with our new room. We were thoroughly impressed from our first meeting with Mark to design the structure that would meet our needs, right through to the end. The team were fantastic, professional, polite, friendly, reassuring and left our home spotless at the end of each day. They were so efficient and had the job complete in 6 weeks. We can’t recommend Brightspace highly enough. We had previously got to the point of sign-off with a different well-known design-and-build company only for it fall through last minute despite waiting for 14 months with our deposit paid. From the outset, everyone we dealt with at Brightspace were friendly and professional. They put together a proposal that was what we were looking for, and had no issues taking time with us to make several sets of alterations to the design at our request until it was perfect. The lead time from first meeting to build start was a matter of weeks. At the start of each week we would get either a text or a phone call from Brightspace to give us an update on progress and what we could expect over the coming days. We hadn’t expected this and it was a pleasant surprise! Each team arrived promptly EVERY morning, worked cleanly, asked nothing of us, and were so friendly and pleasant that I loved going to see how things were going and to get some photos or have a chat. Our extension is now complete - it’s exactly as we specified and we’re delighted, both in terms of looks and build quality. But I have to say that what stands out is the customer service. Having a building company that wants to stay in touch with their clients, and who will happily answer any call or query means a huge deal.

Building on a conservatory was such a huge commitment for me. But if I hadn't gone ahead with it, I would never have had the pleasure of working with Mark, Niall and all the team. A nicer, more professional group of people you couldn't meet. Aside from their attention to detail, their respect for my house, their tidiness and professionalism every step of the way, they all made me feel like I was a valued customer. We are absolutely blown away with our new living room. The overall look of the room is more than we had hoped for. The finish is immaculate.Myself and my husband couldn't get over how efficient and professional everyone was. From their early morning starts, high work standards and finishes to the level of tidiness afterwards, all of this was much appreciated. We were in constant contact by Niall and we never had a moments doubt with the entire project.Brightspace provided a fantastic service. Mark in particular made the whole process so easy and enjoyable. My girlfriend and I have recently had a conservatory installed by Mark and his team at Brightspace. Our initial impression was that we were dealing with a highly professional team who were not trying a hard sell. There reviews and their showrooms are extremely impressive and speak for themselves. Mark makes an initial on-site visit and outlines the build requirements and cost. Once we decided to go ahead with the conservatory we had a final meeting with Mark in Johnstown and went through every aspect of the build and a computerized 3D design was provided. The timetable Mark provides for start and completion of the build is extremely reassuring and ran like clockwork.The build team which includes a project manager (Niall), builders, glazers, plumbers and electricians were extremely efficient, punctual and tidy.We are delighted with the final product and would highly recommend Mark and all team at Brightspace.

We had our conservatory built by Johnstown conservatories in 1999, we were very happy with all aspects of the build, so decided to go back to Niall to change our roof to a solid one.Again, like in 1999 the service was great, they arrived when they said they would. When we began our journey to renovate our townhouse, we knew we wanted to extend the rear of the house and enhance the size, light and functionality of the home. We decided to get a sunroom in March this year and it was completed in mid June. The friendly professional service we received from all the staff and crews was exemplary. We were kept informed every step of the way and every crew arrived when we were told they would. Brightspace were fantastic. Getting work done on your house is a big decision so I was unsure whether to go with a contractor or Brightspace. I am so glad I went with Brightspace. They were really professional, work was of a high standard. Mark who we dealt with in the initial phase really listened to what we wanted and made some great suggestions. He thought of things that we have never known about. He remembered details that I had talked about and called before the order was place to make sure he could try and make them happen. Niall was our project manager who kept in touch with us once the work started and was always there to listen and remembered everything too. If you were like me and unsure don't be. I would highly recommend them.
