Connotations: an annual slash con in the UK
Connotations is the brain child of 
moonlettuce/Claire and temaris. We started by planning a weekend break with friends... and then it grew into a full blown con. We're still not quite sure how that happened.
That first con was held October 2003, and we haven't got bored yet *g*. Check out the Connotations LJ memories section for what the people who came along thought of the first ones!
Connotations 2011 has been and gone, we had a fantabulous time, and everyone who wasn't there, where were you? we missed you! Next year will be Connotations #10, October 5-7 back at the Royal County Hotel, Durham. Registration will open on March 2012 at £50 rising to £70 from 1st August 2012, and run until October 1 for online regs. Registration after that must be via email, and is at the concom's discretion. Check the website for reg info and so on.
This LJ community is where updates will be posted, along with the yahoo group and the website, so you have no excuse for not knowing what's going on! We also now have a Twitter account
