Connect to Greatness is a nonprofit organization in South Florida dedicated to supporting Black male students and their families. Through mentorship, leadership development, and academic enrichment, we empower Black boys to thrive in school, prepare for college and careers, and grow into confident leaders.
When boys grow into compassionate, emotionally healthy, and responsible young men, the girls who learn beside them, and the women who will one day work, partner, and build families with them, all benefit. It’s long-term systemic change:
Healthy boys → Healthier relationships → Stronger families and workplaces.
Our Mentorship Programs for Black Boys
We connect Black male students with mentors who provide academic guidance, life skills, and personal growth opportunities. Our mentoring programs help boys build confidence, resilience, and purpose.
Leadership Development for Middle and High School Students
Our leadership training equips students with communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. We prepare Black male youth to become changemakers in school and in their communities.
Family and Community Empowerment
Connect to Greatness supports parents and caregivers through workshops, networking, and advocacy. By empowering families, we strengthen the foundation for student success and community impact.
College and Career Readiness for Black Male Students
We guide students on the path to higher education and career opportunities. From scholarships and mentoring to real-world exposure, we ensure every young man is prepared for the future.
