Supplies & Scientist Requests
Every 15th of the month the stores and shops in Fortuna are re-supplied by the scientists. There are usually enough supplies to get most of the population through the month as long as they're cautious. While all stores do get restocked marginally (at least two or three items), depending on your location you will find specific supplies are stocked in better force.
→Dissimulo: Farming and animal care supplies (season appropriate seeds, shovels, rakes, hay, etc)
→Discedo: Food (mostly cans though there is a small supply of other types of food such as flour, oil, dried foods such as pasta, cereal and various mixes [pancake, jello, etc again this ration is small and expires after a time]) and a modest amount of clothes (nothing particularly fashionable, but serviceable)
→Spero: Medical supplies (pills, syringes, bandaids, etc) and all luxuries such as flashlights, batteries, tools, cellphones (no service is locatable, but may be used for parts), gas and trendy clothing
Items such as furniture, knickknacks and every day items (sheets, cutlery, picture frames, etc) can be found all around the cities and scavenged. If there's any specific items you have in mind you're not certain is stocked in Fortuna or where your character may acquire it you can inquire here!
In addition characters may also request items from the scientist (this includes both general items and specific items from canon). These requests will be decided on a case-by-case basis. If your character makes a request of the scientists please link the IC post here and we'll get to it as soon as possible. If you'd rather just handwave the request instead of making a post you may also ask here OOCly for your character!
Death doesn't require mod approval, but we'd like to keep track of all the death going on somehow. Please comment to this post using the form below when your character dies.
Remember, the first time a character dies it will take one full day for them to return, and they will wake up in the hospital. The second time they die, it will take two full days. The third time, three days and etc., but if a character manages to die five times, they're in for a little surprise courtesy of the Scientists.

A lot of things are going on in
discedo, and it's all too easy to miss something if you go on hiatus, or get completely lost if you're a newcomer. Never fear, this post is here to help! Underneath the cut, you'll find a brief summary of the plot events (and then some) that have occurred from the start of Discedo up until now, so if you've missed something, it's a little easier to catch up.( the dark I know wellCollapse )
Chip Removals
If you'd like to have your character's chip removed please fill out the form below and comment! In order to have a chip removed the character must have been in the game for two weeks, have a doctor (or friend who knows what they're doing) to perform the procedure and be aware of the chip's location. (If your character doesn't know the location, but the doctor performing the removal does that's fine.) When submitting a form please either link to an IC thread where a doctor character has agreed to remove your character's chip or have the mun of the doctor character comment to this post (for those who are removing their own chip just note so in the provided space).
If you plan to have a large scale event with your character's chip removal approval might take longer and you might be given a further removed date. This is just to keep too many events from happening at one time in the game. Please wait until a week after submitting before inquiring about the status of a request with the modteam.

spectavi is dedicated to bringing characters the most up-to-date and completely unbiased news! Seeing as Spectavi runs every other week this is a lot of news to keep up with. If you have any events or rumors you'd like to suggest for news coverage you can do so here. For in-game events please give a brief, but concise synopsis. You may also link threads. Suggestions can include broad events such as a new building generator, personal ones such as two friends fighting and rumors as outrageous as you like (alien invasions, characters being pregnant, predictions of catastrophes and apocalypses, big foot: if you could find it in the National Enquirer or the Sun feel free to suggest it!).Hiatus
Hiatuses may last up to one month. If you need to extend your hiatus comment to your original comment with the noted change.
As a reminder you may only hiatus through 2 consecutive Activity Checks. After that you must pass the next one to retain your characters in the game. Activity requirements may be given to any mod at any time during the month if you know you won't be around for AC. If for any reason you can't meet these requirements please contact a mod.
