We know online learning can sometimes feel lonely, but with the COMPEL Pro Cohort, it will feel like being in a classroom of friends, learning together!
The COMPEL Pro Cohorts take place twice a year and are available for all members to participate in. Every year, one Cohort will feature a brand-new Pathway with all new lessons and one will feature an existing Pathway with added learning opportunities. Typically, the Cohorts take place early in spring and in the middle of fall each year.
How does a Cohort work?
Once enrolled in the featured Cohort Pathway, members are automatically added to the Cohort Group, where all engagement and community will take place throughout the experience. In the Cohort Group, members will:
- Walk together through an eight-week learning semester in real time!
- Engage with others members as you learn.
- Talk about the weekly lesson takeaways with COMPEL Pro staff, volunteer leaders and fellow members.
- Get your questions answered in real time.
- Participate in one live webinar with COMPEL Pro staff.
- Receive a Certificate of Completion at the close of the Cohort.
- And so much more!

When is the next Cohort taking place?
COMPEL Pro features two Cohort Learning Experiences, generally in the spring and fall of each year.
Our next Cohort will run from September 21-November 13, 2026.
Together, we’ll walk through a brand-new, eight-lesson Learning Pathway titled “The Power of Story.”
In this Cohort, you’ll learn why stories are so powerful, the key elements of a good story, how to use stories well in your writing and speaking, and so much more! Plus, connect with COMPEL Pro leaders and expert guests in a live halftime webinar.

How do I get involved?
All members will be notified via email and in The Gathering Place when a new Cohort is announced and invited to enroll in the featured Cohort Pathway.
Once enrolled in the Pathway, you will automatically be added to a dedicated Cohort Group where all the fun and engagement will take place over the course of the eight-week learning semester!
