Hybrid Data Fabric
Overview
TrustCloud’s Hybrid Data Fabric is the integration layer that connects TrustCloud to over 100 SaaS and on‑premises systems, consolidating security and GRC data into a single source of truth. By normalizing data across these systems, Hybrid Data Fabric powers automated evidence collection, continuous control monitoring, and real‑time risk analysis across your frameworks.
API‑based integrations map directly to your controls and policies, so telemetry from tools like cloud providers, identity platforms, DevOps pipelines, ITSM, and vulnerability scanners can be used to automatically test controls and keep your programs continuously audit‑ready.

What are Integrations?
Integrations are the API-based connections that link TrustCloud with the tools your teams already use, from cloud providers and security platforms to business systems. They allow TrustCloud to automatically gather audit data, monitor controls, and assess risks without interrupting your workflows.
In short: Integrations turn your existing systems into a unified, intelligent source of truth for compliance, security, and risk operations.
Meet TrustCloud’s Hybrid Data Fabric
Hybrid Data Fabric is the security and GRC data lake that aggregates data from your internal- SaaS, cloud, IT, and on‑premises systems. It continuously consolidates configurations, logs, inventories, and metrics from across your technology stack into a single, standardized data model.
This unified data layer is what powers TrustCloud’s automation, helping you:
- Automatically collect and verify evidence
- Continuously test and monitor controls
- Assess and manage risks in real time
- Stay continuously audit-ready.
Hybrid Data Fabric enables you to aggregate structured and unstructured data at scale so that you can evaluate all your GRC artifacts and replace point-in-time, subjective assessments with continuous, data-driven assurance.
How it works
- Connect your systems through secure, read‑only integrations.
- Ingest configuration, log, and inventory data via APIs or lightweight scripts.
- Normalize the incoming streams into a structured, GRC-ready data model.
- Map everything into your program’s Control Graph to automate control testing and assurance workflows.
Data collected through these integrations flows into TrustCloud’s assurance data lake, where AI and rules engines continuously monitor, test, and report on your compliance and risk posture.
Security First: All integrations are read‑oriented and require only the minimum permissions necessary. TrustCloud never modifies your external systems.
Connect with over 100+ platforms

Don’t see what you need? We’ll build it.
TrustCloud’s integration framework is designed for speed and flexibility. If you have a system we don’t yet connect to, our team can build it for you at no additional cost.
Custom integrations are typically deployed within 4 to 6 weeks, depending on:
- Availability of a public API
- A sandbox or test instance for validation
- Similar integrations already supported in your category (which accelerates development)
Because our integration architecture is modular, adding new data feeds is fast, secure, and repeatable.
For hybrid or on‑prem environments
Integrations aren’t limited to cloud apps. Hybrid Data Fabric also supports push‑based data feeds, allowing internal, on‑prem, or private systems to send data directly to TrustCloud through our public API.
You can:
- Push data programmatically via the API or SDK
- Use pre‑built scripts from our library
- Have TrustCloud manage your custom feed creation as a managed service
This flexibility ensures that every data source, cloud or local, can become part of your connected assurance ecosystem.
From data to action: Normalization and control mapping
Each integration feed is normalized into structured data relevant to your compliance and security workflows. TrustCloud’s Control Graph then connects this data to your controls, assets, and policies.
With our rules engine, you can:
- Automate testing of KRIs and controls
- Leverage hundreds of pre‑built rule templates
- Combine data from multiple feeds (for example: linking CMDB assets, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure) to validate more complex relationships
This mapping enables Assurance AI–driven monitoring that continuously evaluates your program’s health, helping you detect gaps, trigger evidence snapshots, and maintain compliance all year round.
TrustCloud provides intuitive navigation under Integrations to manage your Hybrid Data Fabric connections. Access these from any program to configure data feeds, view status, and extend workflows.

Integration data models
Each supported integration follows a structured data model that defines how fields, attributes, and inventories are mapped to TrustCloud’s assurance data lake.
These models ensure consistency, traceability, and interoperability across all your connected systems.
Why it matters
Hybrid Data Fabric gives you clarity, control, and confidence over your compliance and risk operations.
By connecting your existing ecosystem, it transforms your tools into a real‑time trust network, one where evidence is automatically gathered, controls are instantly validated, and audits become effortless.
