Involvement
Commonwealth LNG is committed to being a good neighbor and member of the community. Even prior to construction of our facility, Commonwealth has contributed to Cameron Parish through its time and talent as well as providing financial support for several local initiatives.
This multi-billion-dollar infrastructure project is an investment in the future of Cameron Parish and will bring more than 200 full-time jobs to the community.

Developing future leaders
McNeese State University in nearby Lake Charles is a key partner of Commonwealth LNG in promoting the benefits and opportunities associated with LNG.
Commonwealth LNG:
- Participates in the Business Advisory Council in the College of Business and has provided classroom guest speakers and mentoring.
- Developed an internship program including talent sourced from our involvement in McNeese recruiting fairs.
- Will assist in sponsoring the national LNG Center of Excellence being developed at McNeese State.
