C-O-MM Fire and Rescue operates a fully licensed Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance service. With five transporting ambulances and one non-transport ALS engine, the Department ensures rapid, high-quality emergency care.
Of the Department’s 53 uniformed firefighters, 32 are Paramedics, 19 are EMTs, and 2 are Advanced EMTs. The EMS Division responds to approximately 3,950 incidents annually, with about 65% resulting in patient transport.
Advanced equipment includes Stryker stretchers with power load systems, LUCAS CPR compression devices, and LifePak 15 cardiac monitors. Ongoing training through in-person sessions and the Prodigy EMS platform ensures staff remain current with evolving medical standards.
