"Comme des Garçons" is French for "like boys." The name was chosen by Rei Kawakubo for its neutral, understated quality — a deliberate detachment from femininity conventions in fashion at the time of the brand's founding. The phrase captures the spirit of gender-free, conceptual dressing that defines the house.

Rei Kawakubo is the founder and creative director of Comme des Garçons, established in Tokyo in 1969. Widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in fashion history, she has consistently challenged conventional notions of beauty, form, and dress. She is one of very few living designers to have received a solo exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute.

Items may be returned within 14 days of receipt, provided they are unworn, unwashed, and in original condition with all tags attached. Sale items and select limited editions are final sale and cannot be returned.
