Comical

Comical is a free, open-source comic viewing app that helps users read their favorite comics comfortably from their computer.

It includes the possibility to choose whether you want to view one or two pages at a time. Surprisingly enough, Comical is really fast when it comes to automatically resizing pages so they fill the window you have open on your screen.

It’ll allow you to read comics in a variety of formats such as: CBR (RAR) and CBZ (ZIP) containing images in JPEG, PNG, GIF or TIFF formats. It’s also possible to read directories that contain images in some of the aforementioned file formats.

One of the features that really makes Comical worthwhile is that it pre-loads and saves pages from each comic onto your cache which is great if your image quality is really high and you don’t want to waste time while flipping from page to page while each one loads.

Comical also includes the option to use full-screen mode, a page browser, a number of image filters, zooming and rotating tools.
