I was a part of the hispanic community in a minor way, and I would like to clarify that I do not support nor defend anyone saying any slurs. The fact people I used to follow and comment on because of our common language and interests are defending racist behaviour. Ragebait isn't a justified reason for this.
And for the ones panicking, don't. You won't get banned just because you speak spanish, that's just stupid. As long as you don't defend their actions, you'll be fine.

A bit more of a personal talk since it's been so long since I did one of these big yap posts here
I feel like people need to let go of problematic media. It's just awkward every time they mention/talk about it when the media itself either has questionable owners or just has sketchy practises and it reaches the point where it doesn't feel like "separating the art from the artist" because you're still giving them money anyways and supporting their actions passively just by interacting with that media. Anyone else feel like that? I'm not going to mention any fandom nor anything since I don't wanna offend people but if you know which fandoms I'm talking about then you'll understand. (Not targeted towards anyone in this site, just something i've noticed in the internet in general)
It's been 5 months already???? Wow time really flies. I'll prooobably continue this during the summer since I'll have a lot more free time to do this kinds of stuff, so I can be more active here.

Coming back to state a bit more about the Adobe Animate scandal; it's not AS bad as people make it up to be.
It SEEMS like Adobe Animate FLAs will be rendered unusable after support ends, but that is simply not true. Everyone who has already gotten Animate will be able to use the app normally, and everything will continue the same as it currently is, the app will just not be downloadable, well, it WILL be, but through the seven seas if you catch my drift (you probably shouldn't try that though).
ALTHOUGH if your files corrupt, though, you WON'T be able to restore them, FLA backups in cloud will no longer be a thing, which means you'll have to store them locally, which means that if you don't store them and the file corrupts then you'll have to redo the whole thing, so if you use Animate, make sure to do cloud backups after the support ends!!!
Adobe said they WILL create a replacement for Animate, but it's gonna be more "modern" after the company became more AI-focused so it's probably gonna be AI slop, but it'd be nice if I was proven wrong and Adobe surprises us with something acceptable (which I doubt either way).
Oh yeah, I got the info from multiple people reaching Adobe support since the original blog was misleading as it was apparently made in a rush as they really didn't care much about Animate and just wanted to get it over it.
Yeah uh spread the word or I dunno do whatever you want with this info.
