I don't have one OC who I consider a self-insert, but a bunch of my characters' personalities explore different aspects of myself:
Kira - feeling like a disappointment to one's parents, comparison with more successful siblings
Vade - feeling as the world would be better without one's existing
Egal - not willing to go forward, yearning for going back to the comfort zone
Verpa - not living up to full potential
Wristine - wanting to do something else than to what one was "born for"
Hinter - keeping every bad feeling inside, then exploding

CS on desktop vs CS on mobile (as for me)
Desktop
Pros:
- when I scroll through my feed and see something with comments, I can open the comic post in a new tab and read it without messing up my doomscroll
Cons:
- when I open images of comics in new tab they are NEVER properly auto-zoomed, the text is unreadable unless I zoom by hand or ruin my neck and eyes by bending towards the screen
Mobile
Pros:
- I can easily zoom everything to the extent I need
Cons:
- when I scroll through my feed and see something with comments, I go to the comic post and when I wanna go back to doomscrolling, I often need to scroll all the way from the top... again...

These are my late night's thoughts:
Comic Studio but
- fandom badges are free so you can express your interests from the start
- REMOVE VOTING. You'll be able to support the creator by reposting and commenting
- "special" badges like trophies and shit can be obtained by milestones, like account age
- comments under younger users' posts are enabled, but you can only express what you think with a fixed, safe set of emojis.
- there is a random chance your content will be promoted to the hot page. This chance is the highest when you have few followers. Such system could support new users with great talents.
- or there could be a way to encourage popular users to promote the newbies, like some prize for reposting something from the low-on-followers
As I said, it's late night now where I live and what I elaborated on may be nonsense. Probably all of these features would backfire and be misused. Have a good whatever
