Dr. Nova’s Project Relic Journal
Keeping a journal for your projects is always important, no?
But, anyway…this is the journal I use to write down the 50 days I have worked on Project Relic.
Since this is my first true project journal, I may get some things wrong. But, who really cares?
Well, anyway, after this is done, I might give away this journal for all to read.

I’ve always taken an interest in reviving long gone lifeforms. So, recently, I have been informed that the Relics have been long gone since, like, forever, now?
Well, anyway, the Relics have always interested me. You see, I’ve researched the Relics beforehand, just for fun. I’ve never actually bothered to resurrect them, but I guess today's the day!
First off, I will have to find fossils or remnants of the Relics…obviously. I mean, how else can I revive the Relics without any DNA to sample, right?
Day 1: Excavation

Excavation turned out to be a lot more fun than I expected. Well, you see, I’ve always thought that archaeologists' jobs were boring. You can’t blame me for thinking that, right? But, I digress! So, I went over to a local archaeology center, asked for a dig site, then started digging. They gave me all the standard tools that one would expect at a dig site like this. Well, I didn’t expect to find much at first. Since, most times, people just find dinosaur bones, y’know? But, as I kept digging, I noticed a sliver of the signature green of the Relics. Surprisingly, I found a piece of a Relic Doge! So, I obviously took it back to my lab, and ran some tests on it…it’s still inconclusive right now, I have yet to extract some DNA from it.

Y'know, I've always been more towards research, not experimenting.
Well, anyway...
I've been conducting tests on various test subjects to gain insight into how life works, so that I can work on making Project IDI into what I truly want her to be.
So far, I've learned that I must make IDI asexually reproduce, as it is far more efficient than other forms of reproduction, and I've also learned that I must balance intelligence and strength.
I will further conduct research and experiment on specimens that I obtained...to again, learn on what to add to Project IDI.

Well, it's because I am a perfectionist.

I have been able to resurrect it...after some more motivation.
However, all the relics I made have since escaped...fuck.

Research on the Sages has been going smoothly. I have recently discovered that the Sage Crystal exhibits some intelligence enhancing effects. Weirdly, it also gives resistance to debuffs. I have yet to analyze Newton or Darwin. They will be studied soon.
Anyway, here is the status of Sage N.001, Named "Sage of Mind, Soractes".
Specimen No. 001. Status: Stable.
Battle energy: Strong. Attacks rapidly, with debuffs.
He appears to be based on the philosopher Socrates.
