LearnHacks is a hackathon series for high school students who want to transform education and learning while developing their own skills as entrepreneurs, designers, creators, engineers, and other fields of practice within innovation.

A few things that makes this event unique:

Participants will receive coaching and judging from legit tech entrepreneurs and investors that have worked with world-reknowned companies, such as PhotoMath, ClassDojo, Brainly, Brilliant, Desmos, Outschool, Udemy, Coursera, Varsity Tutors, Quizlet, Kahoot!, and many others. Coaches will be founders, executives, or investors and will host small group discussions and do one-on-ones to help you accelerate.

We are sponsored by Colearn, an online school that offers magnet programs in fields of study relevant for the future. Colearn reduces time spent on mundane coursework, freeing up students time to work on their passions. Colearn is providing cash and equivalent value prizes to winners and valuable projects and submissions.

Places for participants in this hackathon are limited, so sign up now to reserve your spot.

Participants will be introduced to a set of real challenges and big opportunities related to transforming education developed by experts and thought leaders. Participants may choose to work on these or pursue their own ideas.

Participants can submit a range of projects, not limited to working applications in code. Project demos can be User Experience or User Interface designs in Figma, Marketing Strategies or Creative Assets (Graphic Designs, Illustrations, Animations, Videos), or Presentations on Market Research, Strategy, or Positioning. If there's another format or way to do and show work, we're open to it.
