[icons] Marvel's Black Panther  
Good Monday, free world!

So, after a long season of hibernation under the apple trees of Avalon, this witch slash icon maker is back to throw a hello and some icon goddnes your way. Is there anyone out there still, anyway?

This is another very tiny post with 7 icons made off screencaps from the Black Panther movie trailer. It has been long since I experimented with Photoshop and stills, so bear with me. Mostly they have nothing special in terms of color, cropping (dude, what happened to my cropping style?) and general style, so don't expect to see any trendsetting icon here: I am just too obsessed with Wakandians to let it pass. I searched LJ for BP icons and found none - a sacrilege, if you ask me... So, I took a few caps and made some icons. Not groundbreaking, but at least consider for now your love for Wakand decently fed. Enjoy, comment, credit or just appreciate the marvelousness of this movie and its amazing cast. These icons are also a homage to my dear renatajj a fan of Black Panther who hadn't found any LJ icon with her favorite people. So, here we go! The screencaps in very good quality are from here.

Good Sunday, kids!

This tiny 8-icons post is so ridiculous I refuse to call it "batch". On the most, I was experiencing with old colorings I have already used in the past. These icons are mostly also a homage to my dear lilipsiquehd a die-hard fan of Twilight, which by the way I haven't started reading yet. So, here we go, 8 icons made of Twilight trailer caps by schneefloeckli @t swizzmizz_caps.

Teaser? Well... Three icons out of eight is not really a teaser, it's a whole give-away! :D

ps: Since I've been out of business for a while and this post is basically a test, would you guys mind giving me some feedback on the coloring of these? I know they ain't groundbreaking stuff, but I preferred to stick to old known techniques before trying anything more experimental.

[icons] 17 Umbrella themed batch  
Hi, kids!

Wow... It has been such a long time... I can't say the hiatus is over, but I do really enjoyed these bases with umbrellas by the great lore_85, and decided to make a quick post of some icons. They are not that great, but bear with me - I am coming back slowly! SO, for today we have 17 umbrella-themed icons. It's rainy season somewhere ( not here in Brazil, for sure... ) and I know you all could use some icons!

HIATUS  
This community is on a almost-permanent hiatus state. I am way to busy with RL and I lost my flair for icon-making. I used to have time to look for new stuff, study tutorials, find good bases... I am out of time and out of patience ans well. It has been an amazing experience with all of you. I am proud of every little icon I have made through the years, but I am afraid I have nothing more to offer to the icon community. I hope to come back some day - more inspired, more energetic Until then, I thank you very much for sticking with me and for the support. I also invite all of you who are coming here for the first time to browse the archives and check what has been made here. Thanks again for everything and hoping for a bright soon return.

Another jrock post.
Ok, this is my first GazettE batch and I know it is not pretty good. It is not my fault the PV has such shades and colors that only look good in motion. Trying to color tem was murder, but well, here they are. At least I had fun capping the video and cropping the bases :D

[icons] 95 multifandom: stock icons, harry potter, dir en grey  
Hello, sweeties!

It's Carnival in Brazil and here I am making icons. It's raining, damn it.

So, I am back with Harry Potter icons. I had been thinking a lot in a new HP icon batch, but couldn't find inspiration. I found out that the lack of inspiration was connected to the awfully poor caps I had. Yesterday I just stumbled across this wonderful site with really high quality caps and then, all of a sudden, I felt the urge to make more HP icons. Here they are, a fairly modest 26 batch, with the usual simpleness - just playing with colors. I think the OotP was way to dark and that's why I am quite satisfied with this batch that is very bright and colorful.

Nearing Valentine's Day all good hearted people prepare base sets with sweeties... I am on a diet and so are many friends of mine. Especially for lilipsiquehd who asked me for chocolate icons! Here they are, honey! There are 38 icons, very "traditional" coloring. Still, they are a good batch. Once again, jrock icons. 31 Dir en grey icons. The coloring is a bit disappointing - I am still not sure of what colors fit jrockers better. Anyway, the pictures are worthy, nice photoshooting.
