About the challenge (In person only)
CogniHacks is an open community for high schoolers, college students, and others curious about Brain Computer Interfaces (BCI's) and neurotechnology in general. We show the profound applications of BCI's in important fields like Human Computer Interaction (HCI) and GenAI. Our goal is to introduce BCI's, HCI, and how its emergence in the CS world can solve new problems. Whether you're new to coding/neurotechnology or already a pro, our goal is to invite you to help us pioneer the future of neurotechnology in creating new projects powered by both mind control and GenAI.
We keep things interesting with hackathons, learning tracks, and friendly competitions that build teamwork and creative problem-solving. Join us to learn, experiment, and get inspired by the possibilities of Brain Computer Interfaces, Human Computer Interaction, and GenAI. This is a great way to geek out with friends over cool BCI projects!
Get started
Don’t know about Brain Computer Interfaces? No problem! We’ll host tutorials on how a BCI collects data form its users, get sent into the computer, and is ultimately used to control a device with the mind. This will happen before hacking so everyone has all the info they need about BCI's! Don’t have a team? Upon registering, you’ll join our Discord server to connect with others and form your team. Let’s build together!
