CODE OF CONDUCT

 

By participating in the ACM-W hackathon, you will agree with the following codes of conduct. As a George Fox student and resident, you are also bound to the community lifestyle agreement where you must exhibit proper behavior and professionalism when you’re among teams and large gatherings.

 

ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST ADHERE TO THESE CONDUCTS

 

ACM-W @ George Fox is dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable environment and harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of the following:

  • gender

  • gender identity and expression

  • age

  • disability

  • physical appearance

  • body size

  • race

  • ethnicity

  • nationality

  • religion

  • political views

  • previous hackathon attendance or lack of

  • computing experience or lack of

  • chosen programming language or tech stack except Assembly code

  • chosen text editor except light mode editors

 

We do not tolerate harassment of student participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate at the hackathon venue.

 

Hackathon participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the hackathon at the discretion of the hackathon organizers.
