Do I get plugin updates?
Yes you do! Free automatic updates are available to all customers with an active and valid license.
Do you offer a free trial?
No. But you can try the latest version of CoCart online for free by creating a sandbox to see if it’s right for you.
Do you offer support?
Yes we do! If you run into any difficulties, you can ask for help in our Discord server where you will also find a friendly community. Or you can just email us.
Is it allowed to build client websites with my CoCart license?
Absolutely! You can use your CoCart license on your own and your client’s websites. A client being someone you build a website for with CoCart. Reselling of the license itself is strictly against our terms.
Can I install CoCart on my clients websites?
Yes, you can! However, all support requests will need to come through the license holder. Your clients will not have direct access to support.
How do license keys work?
License keys are used to enable plugin updates. After purchase, you will receive a unique license key (alongside your CoCart plugin download). This key can be activated from your WordPress dashboard’s plugin page. License keys can be activated, deactivated and upgraded at any time.
Can I upgrade my license?
Yes. You can upgrade (and downgrade) your license at any time. Simply login to your account where purchased and find your subscription to access upgrading actions.
Do I need to renew my license?
Yes. Licenses are renewed automatically of your billing period to give you continued access to updates to keep you secure. You may also opt-out from auto renewals in favour of manual control from your account but this will prevent further updates being delivered to you.
Will I be reminded of renewals?
No. It is up to you to keep track of your subscription.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
Once cancelled, your license remains active until the end of your current billing period. After that the license status changes to “cancelled” you will no longer have access to updates and support.
But you can still use CoCart as before. As you won’t be able to receive updates, please be aware that running outdated versions of any software brings an inherit security risk with it.
Do you offer any lifetime deal?
We do not. Lifetime deals are really for products/services that don’t require much maintenance or any for that matter to keep working. As CoCart is an extension of WooCommerce, updates are important to keep up with changes they make which is why we do subscription only.
Can I use my license on local and staging installations?
Yes, local and staging site installations don’t count against your license limit. For example, using CoCart Plus or CoCart Pro on awesomestore.com will count towards the limit, but using it on dev.awesomestore.com, awesomestore.dev, staging.awesomestore.com, etc., will not count toward your limit.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. But before you make a decision to purchase. We recommend that you try creating a sandbox first to try the product out at no cost.
