Dip Arch BArch Sc FRIAI Accredited in Conservation Grade 3
Mark joined the practice in 1995 and was a founding Director of Coady Partnership Architects. He brings over 30 years’ experience to the practice, particularly in residential healthcare, primary care facilities, student housing developments, sport facilities and campus master planning. Mark is extremely skilled in bringing together multi-disciplinary teams with international expertise which enables projects to be delivered with a world class quality finish.

Tomás joined COADY Architects in 2001 and has over 25 years of experience specialising in commercial and residential design. He takes a lead in master planning projects including in sensitive urban environments with critically live services and where a high-level of strategic planning and design is required. He leads the Practice’s mixed use and residential team engaged in high and medium density schemes for the private, public and voluntary sectors. He has led HQ office buildings achieving BREEAM Excellent, LEED Gold, LEED Platinum, WELL Platinum and WiredScore Platinum accreditations.

Donal joined us in 2003 and was appointed Director in 2016. Donal has a broad range of experience and leads a team specialising in healthcare, workspace and the delivery of residential projects. He is a talented designer and highly skilled project manager with extensive experience leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams across multi-site projects – with specific experience in the effective use of modern methods of construction.

Luise has been with COADY’s since 2000 and brings significant experience in detail design, specification and project management to the practice. She has delivered numerous complex buildings from various sectors including educational buildings of all levels, sports and student accommodation. She leads our Specification Writing Unit, supporting our designer’s selections of materials and construction. Her knowledge on detailing ensures projects are delivered to an unrivalled high spec finish.

BSc Arch BArch MRIAI
Paul joined COADY in 2003 and is a highly skilled architect and contract manager. He developed the office BIM protocols and standards in our transition to full BIM project delivery. Paul has led several large commercial developments including offices for Government Departments and Local Authorities. He also brings in-depth knowledge of contemporary design standards and current regulations in the residential sector, and leads an experienced team of architects and technologists specialising in residential design for the public and private sectors.

Ruth joined COADY in 2005 and was appointed Associate Director in 2020. She has a broad range of experience in the workspace, education and residential sectors. She also leads the Fit-out and Interiors team within the Practice which has completed multiple award winning fit-out projects. Ruth combines innovative and exciting design skills with technical expertise in the detailing and delivery of projects. She has in-depth knowledge and experience of construction detailing, specification and project procurement.

William joined the Practice in 2005 and was appointed Associate Director in 2020. With a wide variety of experience across multiple sectors His recent work has focused on the education and residential sectors, leading teams specialising in the design of primary and post-primary education buildings, and in the development of affordable purchase and cost rental housing developments. William has a keen interest in procurement, contract administration, and inclusive and sustainable design.

MSc Arch MRIAI
Arkadiusz graduated from Wroclaw University of Technology and joined COADY in 2007. He has specific expertise in education and residential design and has led design on large scale apartment buildings, residential schemes and complex education buildings. Arkadiusz has a prominent role in the design of primary and post-primary education buildings, and has extensive experience in building envelope design and design for modern flexible educational spaces, putting the student experience at the forefront. He is involved in the continuous improvement of our design systems ensuring design quality and efficiency across the office.

B Arch BSc (Arch Sc) MRIAI
John joined COADY in 2014 and leads the Galway office. He has a deep understanding and knowledge of construction detail design with strong skills in Building Information Modelling. John has extensive experience in healthcare, education and student accommodation projects.

BSc Sc BArch MRIAI
Since joining COADY in 2011, Conor has a broad range of experience in both building design and interior fit-out of public and commercial projects. He is a highly skilled, creative architect who combines design and technical skills in equal measure. Conor is involved in developing our standard specifications, and templates for contract administration within the office.

Dip Arch BArch RIBA MRIAI
A graduate of the Mackintosh School of Architecture, Stephan joined COADY in 2000. He is an experienced and gifted designer with an extensive track record in residential, healthcare, sports and education buildings. Stephan plays a key role in our residential team and has significant experience leading design development and managing multi-disciplinary teams for developments in both the public and private sectors. Stephan also takes a lead in Improving the quality and production of tender documentation office wide through standarisation and ongoing review.

Dip Arch Tech MRIAI Dip Project Management
Neal joined COADY as a Senior Technologist before becoming an Associate in 2007 and a registered Architect in 2015. He has exceptional skills in construction detailing and management and long-standing experience in the healthcare and education sectors As a qualified Project Manager, he brings these specialist skills to his projects and the wider office. Neal coordinates the project management and construction management systems on all our work ensuring construction quality through continuous staff training.

B Arch MRIAI
Sarah joined COADY in 2012 and her experience in the education sector includes delivery of school projects through the Rapid-Build and Devolved Schools Programmes. Having worked both as Client Technical Advisor and with the Design & Build Contractors, Sarah has a unique insight and experience in all aspects of Design & Build and PPP delivery processes. She takes a lead in developing and updating compliance and health & safety protocols within the Practice.

James is a highly skilled architectural technologist who brings in-depth knowledge of current building control regulations and design standards in the residential sector. He joined COADY in 2014 and was appointed Associate in 2023. He also takes a lead role in the management of our BIM processes and in office wide CPD’s and focused team-based workshops for continuous upskilling in industry standard software and technology.

Cormac joined COADY in 2013 and was appointed Associate in 2023. He is highly skilled in building construction detailing, building regulation compliance and the development of comprehensive drawings and specifications. Having completed a PhD in Integrated Thermal Assessment and Design Cormac has continued a process of research and practice and is taking part in the EU research project Drive 0, a concept based on developing circular deep renovation solutions to retrofit existing buildings using circular principles and modular construction techniques. He is passionate about sustainability and drives the improvement in energy performance of our projects.

B Arch MRIAI, Conservation Grade 3
John joined COADY Architects in 2014 and was appointed Associate in 2024. He plays a key role in our healthcare team has lead a number of projects including the delivery of the new Waterford Residential Care Centre at St Patricks Hospital and ongoing developments at St Joseph’s Hospital Campus in Limerick City including a Masterplan, a new Regional Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) and day hospital and a new Primary Care Centre.
John excels in leading design discussions and adds his design talent to meaningful stakeholder engagement to provide an informed approach to each design.

B Arch MRIAI
Since joining COADY in 2017 Cormac has been involved in a number of large-scale commercial projects and has extensive Design & Build experience including 2 new office buildings at Dublin Airport Central (DAC) and the ongoing redevelopment of One Opera Square in Limerick where he is Senior Project Architect for a 14,679sqm office building over retail including an 8,000sqm basement under the entire Opera site.
Cormac applies his expert knowledge of building systems, specifications and technical detailing to projects within our Commercial and Residential team.

M Arch MRIAI Accredited in Conservation Grade 3
Since joining COADY in 2015 John has worked on a range of projects across the education and residential sectors including delivery of schools at Haddington Road and Ballymun, and Ellis Court – an award-winning refurbishment of residential accommodation on Benburb Street with extensive conservation works. John is an accredited PSDP and accredited at Grade III Conservation. He was appointed Associate in 2024.
John takes a lead in site analysis and capacity studies within the practice, including preparing volumetric studies and guiding clients in brief development and schedules of accommodation.
