When I listed down trope_bingo prompts I wished to veto, I ended up with 20 but since only 12 is allowed to be opted out, I took out 8 of the unwanted prompts and hoped not to get them. Just my luck, those 8 prompts that I may not have wanted are ALL on my card. What did I ever do to deserve this?

Oh, and fun fact. Shintaro plays the role of Iinuma Sadakichi and the real-life grandson of Iinuma Sadakichi went to see the play last night.

Anyway. Mononofu Shiroki Tora kicked off successfully yesterday and I can't wait to have this play on DVD. I wish they'd release it on DVD, damn it. Otherwise, I'll have to find a way to teleport to Japan and right into the Ten'nōsu Galaxy Theater.



I am speechless. They are all beautiful. (And just as I expected, the production people are deliberately keeping Tsune and Shin-chan away from each other, IDEK anymore). Beware of pic spam.

I'm so excited I can't breathe! It's 3 days til opening day. I can't wait to get this stage play on DVD. I hope it's released soon after the play is over.



Look at Shin-chan! And Tsune-kun! And Ryunosuke! And Atsushi! Everyone! They all look amazing. The sword-fighting lessons did pay well. I can't wait to see them all on stage. I wish I would've made it to Japan for this but I'll have to settle with the DVD. Tickets for the Tokyo shows are sold out anyway. I think same goes for the Nagoya and Osaka shows.

If anyone from Japan (Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka or its neighboring cities/prefectures) happens to see this post, let me know if you will be watching this.

I hope someone writes an original story or a fanfic AU inspired by this. Change the setting, worldbuild, whatever, but it would be awesome to read something similar with a BL or m/m romance twist in it where the main character falls in love with leader of the group of samurai/soldiers/whatever you come up with who came to their rescue during the war. Oh well...
