In this version we have improved notifications when sharing media and we have added a QR code to more easily invite people to securely connect with you, share media, and communicate. This QR code works well for parties and events, where you can create a shared private album that media can be added to and viewed. This version also has bug fixes. 2.5.7 02/07/2025 We are always working to improve the CLIPKICK personal media cloud experience. In this version we have enhanced the player screen experience by allowing for auto-play across a playlist (lineup). With this autoplay ability you can now listen to playlists while doing other tasks or display playlists on big screens at events and they will rotate and refresh. We also now allow for expanding/zooming of images in your lineups with two fingers. 2.5.6 01/05/2025 We are always working to improve the CLIPKICK personal media cloud experience. In this version you can give permission to a connection to upload media to a lineup (playlist) you have shared with them without giving them full collaboration status. This allows for easy and secure sharing of media to your lineups by your close connections and VIPs while still retaining control over other aspects of the lineup, like sharing and arranging the lineup order. 2.5.5 11/01/2024 We are always working to improve the CLIPKICK personal media cloud experience. The login we provided for you is set to bypass our usual OTP verification. 2.5 05/10/2024 We are always working to improve the CLIPKICK personal media cloud experience. In this version we introduced more supported image file types! When you upload these image files we create a viewable preview for you to view or share. As always, we keep the original file stored as well you or the people you share it can download the original file if you allow them to. Supported image file types now include jpeg, png, webp, bmp, psd, svg, and tiff. 2.2.4 04/09/2024 We are always working to improve the CLIPKICK personal media cloud experience. In this version we have improved streaming performance and simplified lineup and media file sharing by separating your connections from all users on the share to page. 2.2.3 12/19/2023 In this version we have introduced multiple invitation links. Now you can create a link when sharing media or inviting people to connect with you that will work for up to 1000 invitations. This link works well for email or social media promotions as you don't have to invite each person individually. To create click "Generate invite link" on the invite screen. If you have reached your connections limit people you invite will still be able to register, but they won't be able to connect with you until you upgrade to a plan that provides more connections. 2.2.2 10/16/2023 You can now invite people to connect with you via your SMS messaging. Click "Invite" at the top of the app or when you share any media. This version also has some bug fixes. 2.2.1 10/05/2023 We have added storage and streaming capabilities for images, and documents. CLIPKICK is now a freemium subscription app. Subscription plans are based on file storage, number of connections, and number of links saved. You can use CLIPKICK to enjoy all the links you have currently saved or media you have uploaded. If you have exceeded limits on your current plan you will be asked to upgrade to add new links, media files, or connections. You can see current plans in the app by clicking "My plan" in the drop down menu, or go to https://clipkick.io/pricing . 2.2 09/19/2023 In this version we fixed a bug where some chat conversations were not opening. Welcome to the new CLIPKICK personal media cloud. Based on your feedback we are evolving from a social media application to a personal media private cloud platform. All public facing content such as discover and recommendation feeds have been removed from the application. Social media features such as "likes" and "follows" have also been removed. We added the ability for users to upload and store content, however no content is visible to the public. All content uploaded is encrypted and secure. You can specifically share content with others that you are connected with. Unlike follows, to connect to another user both users have to accept the connection. You own your content and have complete control of who sees it. We are committed to not tracking users across other applications and we will not work with third parties that track users across websites and applications. We have also stepped up our security with 2 factor authentication, in addition to data encryption in transit and at rest. We welcome your feedback.
