Welcome to Climate Ages!

At Climate Ages, we believe science is most powerful when it connects with people’s lives. Our mission is to share the stories of our planet and the people who care for it, inspiring understanding, compassion, and action for a better future

Through candid fieldwork, personal stories, and honest conversations, we make complex ideas clear, relatable, and inspiring. Our goal is simple: to help science guide decisions, strengthen communities, and shape a future where people and planet thrive together.

About the Founder

Meet Silvia Pineda-Munoz, PhD

Silvia Pineda-Munoz, PhD, is a paleontologist and ecologist turned science communicator who founded Climate Ages to bring science closer to people’s lives.
After years in academic research, teaching, and nonprofit work, she saw how often important discoveries failed to make an impact because they weren’t reaching the audiences who needed them most.
Her writing and multimedia storytelling now reach thousands of readers and viewers worldwide. Through Climate Ages, Silvia highlights the human stories behind science.
From fieldwork in wild places to candid conversations with researchers and nonprofits, she shows why their work matters and how it connects to our shared future.
