Monitor

Easily monitor the internet use of your iPad class via clear thumbnails. See details of the websites students are currently viewing to check they’re on task.

Connect

Setting up classes is simple. Teachers can connect to a set of devices, or students can sign into the app using their school Google or Microsoft accounts – and this enables them to connect to classes created with Google Classroom or Microsoft SDS/Teams. Even better, there’s a QR code which makes signing in super easy, especially for younger students.

Privacy and safeguarding

classroom.cloud’s iOS app maintains students’ privacy. The school can set the conditions for when the classroom management, safeguarding, and activity monitoring functions are active – based on the time, date, or network the device is connected to.

By optionally requiring students to sign in with their Google or Microsoft accounts, or via QR code, the safeguarding team can easily link any safeguarding issues to a specific student.

Configure

Your IT team can deploy the classroom.cloud app quickly and easily via MDM. Once it’s installed onto your iPads, then that’s it! You can make any configuration adjustments centrally and seamlessly from the web portal.

Manage your class

To encourage focus when using the internet, you can employ ‘approved’ and ‘restricted’ website lists during the lesson to keep students within the lesson topic. To save even more time, you can even launch a website on their iPads simultaneously.

To gain your students’ attention, you can lock their iPad screens – and use the chat or message tools to communicate with them and respond to any help requests without disturbing the rest of the class.

Increase engagement

With classroom.cloud, you can show your students their lesson objectives and expected learning outcomes – and recognize their good work or behavior by assigning awards during the lesson.

You can also get everyone involved during a Q&A session with classroom.cloud’s random selection tool – great for introducing a game-show element to learning!

classroom.cloud also enables you to send out a quick survey to gauge understanding of the lesson topic or check in on students’ wellbeing.
