Examples Of What Behavior Consultations Can Help With

Virtual Consultations Wherever You Are

Virtual cat behavior consultations are the better way to go, especially for the first consultation. Don’t believe us? Check out this video Joey made about virtual behavior consultations dispelling some of the myths.

Estimated Total Costs

Costs are based on the number of sessions you need. We require you purchase at least one follow up session. More complex situations require more sessions and take longer so your total cost is proportionate to the amount of work we do for you.

  • Problems not involving tension between cats: $290 to $800
  • Problems involving aggression or tension between cats: $600 to $1500

These estimates include the first session. In cases where you have a more severe problem or want extra support, the final cost may be higher.

Behavior Consultation Follow Up Sessions

When signing up for a behavior consultation, assume you will need multiple sessions. Cats are complicated! Plus, we like getting to know our clients and work with them over time.

Zoomies Sessions

Zoomies sessions are short 30 minute virtual sessions for a single, minor problem or to go over something quick like helping your cat get used to their carrier

  • Annoying but not a dangerous problems.
    • Think something that you’d like resolved, but if it’s not fixed it isn’t the end of the world.
  • Destructive scratching and counter surfing are great examples of what these sessions are appropriate for.
  • These sessions include reasonable e-mail clarification about what we talk about for 2 weeks after your session.
  • If your cat is already fearful or displaying a lot of anxiety, a full consultation is a better choice

These sessions are NOT appropriate for:

  • House soiling/litter box problems, spraying
  • Fighting cats/conflict between cats/introducing cats
  • Aggression toward humans
  • If you are considering declawing your cat
  • Any situation where euthanasia is being considered
  • Multiple behavior concerns

If you aren’t sure if your situation is appropriate for a Zoomies session, ask before booking. Your session will be canceled if your behavior concern isn’t appropriate for a Zoomies session.
