Cooties.

April 12th, 2009 (01:22 pm)

I has a new webcam! It's shiiny. I'm going to make a video post sooon.

Oh, f-list. Beautiful f-list! I need your help once more. The Stems and Seeds Remix Contest ends tomorrow, and I'm sitting in 8th place right now. I'm about 100 or so hits away from hitting the third place position, therefore allowing me to finally win something with Ben's cooties on it.

Ew. Cooties. Meh.

Anyway. Just to drive the nail home, I implore you, f-list, to loop "The Guru" as many times as possible. You can just leave the volume down and go about your life on or off the compy. (It DID work, fruchick!) I will repay you by any means nessasary, f-list. I promise!

Video post, later.

Public.

March 20th, 2009 (12:19 am)

I made myself some techno chocolate because Ben Folds is giving away his copy of Phil Collins' "No Jacket Required." I want it more than the DJ equipment and the prize pack. So, in an act of shameless self promotion, I'm posting the link here for all of my friends (and non friends) to listen to it as many times as you can stand so I can get said album.

It's a really good album.

The Guru - Clare Quilty (Kristine Myers)

It's called "The Guru" and samples "The Frown Song". It's... amusing? But it doesn't matter if it sucks as not. So long as you play it AS MUCH AS YOU CAN STAND. :-D

Who knows? You might even like my crazy bar of techno chocolate.

In other news, I'm afraid to go outside my house. Clearly, I fail at life.

*waves to her friends list* Hey kids! Here's a game.

Step 1: Put your iPod or whatever on random.
Step 2: Post the 1st line from the first 31 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing the song. And it doesn't have to be perfect if you can't understand the lyrics word for word. If the title line is the first line, take the next one.
Step 3: Let everyone guess what song and artist the lines come from. (extra points for artist/album!)
Step 4: Bold the songs when someone guesses correctly.
Step 5: Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is CHEATING!

Campaign/Motivational Posters.

July 4th, 2007 (01:19 am)
current song: The Beatles - I'm So Tired

First off, Happy 4th of July to all my American Comrads.

In honour of it, I was inspired by a quote from Stephen Colbert the other day on the Colbert Report. You know? That one about Chewie and The Doctor?:

"...wait a minute...so you're just going to get a bunch of computer nerds (signing up)...you're going to end up with a nomination for Doctor Who and Chewbacca (for pres/vice pres)".

Yeah, that one. If you don't "get it" click this.

*ahem* anyway. It got the creative juices flowing, and what I created is complete crack. Like, crack to the RTD degree. Only because I think it would be the most fantastic thing ever, I give you:
