So, for the next few weeks I am cooking for one. And I can't cook. So I mainly live on Lean Cuisine's and the like. Which is OK, but there's never enough food in 'em. I'd like to quickly cook some veges or throw together a simple salad to go along with the frozen meals, but here's my dilemma. I err, can't cook veges or salads ;)
Roasts, souffles, cakes, bread etc I'm fine, but veges and salads always come out boring or limp or both.
Suggestions for easy and relatively healthy things I can do in under 10 minutes? I can't have red wine at all, and garlic has to be minimal - I'd be so disowned if my family were Italian ;)
