First aid techniques change with medical and healthcare advancements. A refresher course ensures you learn the latest methods and apply the best possible care in emergencies.
Build Confidence in Emergencies
Regular training keeps your knowledge sharp, so when an emergency happens you’ll have the confidence to respond correctly while waiting for medical help.
Provide the Best Care for Others
Inaccurate or outdated first aid can actually do more harm than good. Keeping your training current ensures you can provide the best possible care to those in need. Be prepared and certified with CK First Aid. Contact us today to book now!

Frequently Asked Questions

As qualified instructors in first aid and CPR training, the CK First Aid team answers many questions every day. Here are a few of the most common questions we get.
Is First Aid the same as CPR?

No, first aid and CPR are not the same, but CPR is a part of first aid. First aid covers a wide range of emergency care techniques, including treating injuries and medical conditions. CPR focuses specifically on resuscitation during cardiac arrest and is one important element within first aid training.

How often do I need to renew my CPR and first aid training?

CPR certification needs to be renewed every 12 months, while first aid certification is valid for three years. Keeping your certification up to date ensures that you stay compliant with workplace regulations and are prepared for emergencies with the latest first aid techniques.

What is CK First Aid’s connection with Allens Training?
At CK First Aid, we deliver first aid and CPR courses that are designed by Allens Training Pty Ltd (RTO 90909). This means our courses follow the strict guidelines set by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and meet all Registered Training Organisation (RTO) standards. You can trust that you’re receiving high-quality, nationally recognised training.
Where can I attend one of your courses?

Our public training facilities are conveniently located in Clayton, in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs approximately 24km from the CBD, and in Stafford Heights, about 15km from Brisbane’s CBD. You can join one of our public courses here, or, for added flexibility, arrange for us to bring first aid training to your workplace, school, or facility for groups of 6 or more. This service is available Australia-wide, with no additional cost for training scheduled during or after business hours.

How do I enrol in a CK First Aid course?
Enrolling is super easy. First, find the course that suits your needs from our offerings. Once you’ve made your decision, you can book directly through our online booking system. If you’re unsure which course to take or need help with a group booking, just give us a call, we’re happy to assist! Once you’re registered, we’ll send you online materials to complete before attending the practical session.
Do I need to do anything before attending my course?
Yes, but it’s simple! Once you’re enrolled, we’ll send you reading materials that you’ll need to go through before the session. Some courses also require you to complete an online assessment beforehand to ensure you understand the key concepts. Since first aid training involves hands-on activities, dress comfortably, as you may need to kneel or move around. Unlike traditional courses, you won’t need to bring a notebook or pen, as everything is covered in the enhanced online learning materials.
Why should I choose CK First Aid?
At CK First Aid, we’re committed to delivering high-quality, nationally recognised training. Our courses are designed to be practical, engaging, and easy to complete, with a mix of online learning and hands-on practice. We also offer same-day certificate processing, workplace-compliant training, and on-site group sessions at no extra cost.
