CircuitShepherd provides you with analog-design superpowers by doing automated parameter optimization it in realtime! It's a novel Electronic Design Automation software for AI driven electronics circuit engineering. You define an arbitrary schematic including specific design goals and CircuitShepherd will find the right part values for you. This is achieved by combining traditional circuit simulation techniques with AI driven parameter estimation algorithms and finally a simple and intuitive user interface. It’s easy to learn, fast to use and it will save you a lot of time by automating your daily calculation and iteration tasks. CircuitShepherd is free to use immediately (with very basic features). The full version with all features enabled is available via in-app purchase (subscription-based). Version History Improved plot drawing style. 1.14 01/14/2024 Introducing a new symbol and feature: 'Inductive Coupling' Inductive Coupling is compatible with both AC and DC-based HF (High Frequency) analysis. Setting up a Coupling coefficient is similar to the process used in LTspice. Additionally, the Coupling coefficient can be set to 'auto', which designates it as an optimizable parameter. Similar to Inductive Coupling, controlled sources are now functional across isolated circuit boundaries. 1.13 01/07/2024 Stability improvements. 1.12 12/18/2023 Stability improvements. 1.11 12/10/2023 Performance and stability improvements. Slightly changed value input behavior to fix an issue with iOS 17. Changed Twitter to X. 1.10.1 10/13/2023 Bug fixed: Circuits with voltage controlled voltage sources now show correct results. 1.9 06/20/2023 Added a new symbol: Voltage-Controlled Voltage Source (VCVS) Controlled sources now have a configurable “Phase” parameter. Controlled sources now can have “auto” values (Gm, Av, Phase). Added a new template: “three-phase system”. Updated the “common emitter amplifier with dc transfer plot” template to utilize VCVS instead of VCCS. 1.8.1 05/23/2023 Resistors and Potentiometers can now be selected as "sweep" source for "DC sweep analysis" in Voltmeter, Amperemeter, Wattmeter, Discontinuity-measurement and Plot ("input"). With the potentiometer, the "alpha" is swept! Bug fixes and minor improvements. 1.7 01/03/2023 Value slider settings are now preserved and saved for all symbol properties. Revised value slider defaults. Added pre-rendered thumbnails for the circuit templates. Fixed a possible issue where the tool buttons would load extremely slowly. Stability improvements. 1.6 11/04/2022 Analyze the Open-Loop frequency response of any arbitrary OPAMP circuit simply by selecting the OPAMP as input / output in the bode plot. For corresponding cursors / measurements / design targets use the newly introduced "AC"-symbol. Added "Phase margin [deg]" as a new parameter to OPAMPs. (It's on the 2nd parameter page in the OPAMP property pane.) OPAMPs can now be copied as entangled. Minor fixes and improvements. 1.5 06/23/2022 Added new part type: Potentiometer. Fixed some bugs related to Undo/Redo. Minor fixes and improvements. 1.4 06/04/2022 Added new value set type "step" as a simpler alternative to DACs. Improved converging of FETs.
