I didn't manage to finish sewing Honekoneko though; I messed up putting together the leg with the body and it was too late to restart. @__@ So starting over afterward and hopefully having it for like. casual photoshoots with friends during the summer, I guess.
Ahhhh, I am so nervous about tomorrow. So many artists I admire will be at Fanime's Artist Alley! I hope I will not be too derpy in front of them.

HEY, S'UP GUYS. I've mostly been busy writing fic. Fic that is... for the most part not completed. (Including my China/Japan springfest fic, l-lolol. Which will definitely get done, damnit, because there's also a Greece/Turkey fic in the same 'verse. :|d ) I'd say a lot of fic, except I am the slowest writer, so "a lot" for me in the time frame is like. 3k words or something. (Though I did end up writing like. 500some words of gag Japan/geoduck porn in one sitting, so uhhhhhh. ...I REGRET NOTHING.) Also, have been doing facebook game easter events. This is my life, folks, yup.
I did make a music tumblr though, if any of you are interested in that kind of thing. ventura highway! I'll be trying to post like, things people might not have heard before, as well as nostalgic 90s stuff, but given I have no idea what people might have heard through friends or radio, um. (Like, apparently Florence and the Machine is big now! And Mumford and Sons! ...Is Stornoway big yet? They totally deserve it if they aren't.) I just have a weird baseline for these things, because you could probably list most mainstream artists that are not Lady Gaga, and I will be like, "...I might have heard of them? maybe?" ohps.

sobbbb ah, there's this one prompt on the kink meme I just. REALLY WISH I KNEW WHO REQUESTED IT. so I could see whether I could compromise on the requests a bit. (...probably a lot, actually, so perhaps never mind that. orz) because I want to do it so badly, because just the butterfly effects! never mind the steampunk. *A* but as it is, the more I think about it, the more I think the scenario is impossible in a historical or IC or canonical context, even with that one huge-ass change in history. There are just... so many other factors! that I just cannot see China becoming the conquering kind of world power the requester is imagining. Even the big historical change wouldn't really. give China the drive to actively conquer at that point. Hell, Hidekaz did a strip that was basically China going around the world, bringing home cute animals, and then deciding he was the best and didn't need anything.
Britain needed the trade and conquering because it is a TINY ISLAND OF TININESS lolollll.
though hrrrrrrrm. Maybe if I went the route of some crazy Arms Race-esque thing? [goes to discuss with research buddies whether that's even plausible given the timeframe] If it becomes retaliatory... hrm.

Aaaah~ [rolls] I just marathoned through what's been scanlated of the Noto-sama comics. IT IS SO AMUSING I think my favorite of all the characters is Toyama, just for the sheer hilarity of his protectiveness over Noto-kun. Also, he's supposedly the sanest of the characters in the series, and yet...
[sighs and stares at fic she's working on] I don't know how something I was estimating to be 800, 1k words at the most ended up with a wordcount over 2k and is still steadily rising. WHAT IS THIS!? What happened to the conciseness I used to have. ;A; There was a time when I couldn't even imagine myself writing something that broke 1k, and now...
The writing is so choppy though. and probably OOC. (Seriously, Russia. oh gods, Russia.) At this point, it is seriously just word vomit!? [should get a beta/proofreader] Though where do people even find those, because FFN/FP's beta system is terribly thought out. Though that's a rant for another day, haha.
ETA: Broke 3k. What the hell. Every time I try to adjust it to make it flow better, the words keep multiplying.
