Zhuangfan Li

Zhuangfan Li is the Director of Engineering, Quality & Warranty at CIE Manufacturing, where he leads advanced chassis design, quality management, and product innovation for the intermodal transportation industry. With over a decade of engineering experience, Zhuangfan specializes in structural integrity, weight optimization, and durability, ensuring every product meets AAR, DOT, FMVSS, ISO, ANSI, SAE, and TTMA standards.

His expertise spans finite element analysis (FEA), CAD design (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor), welding process engineering, materials engineering, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies. Zhuangfan directs cross-functional teams in new product development, prototype validation, and manufacturing process optimization—delivering high-performance, cost-effective chassis solutions.

Before joining CIE Manufacturing in 2018, he held engineering leadership roles at AXN Heavy Duty, China Feiyue USA Inc., and China Three Gorges Corp., building a proven track record in product development, testing, and regulatory compliance.

Zhuangfan holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Wuhan University. He is an ASQ Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and is recognized for his technical leadership, innovation in chassis engineering, and commitment to advancing global transportation solutions.
