Do I need a ChatNode account to use this plugin?
Yes, you need to create an account on ChatNode.ai to generate your chatbot and retrieve the bot ID for embedding.
Where can I get my Chatbot ID?
Log in to your ChatNode dashboard and copy it from the “Settings” tab of your bot.
Will this plugin slow down my website?
No. The chatbot script is loaded asynchronously from ChatNode’s servers, so it won’t block or delay the rest of your website from loading.
Can I customize the appearance of the chatbot?
Customization options are handled through your ChatNode dashboard. You can change colors, avatar, welcome message, and more from there.
Does the plugin support shortcode or block editor?
Currently, this plugin automatically embeds the chatbot site-wide. Future updates may add shortcode and block support for more flexibility.
Is there a way to disable the chatbot on certain pages?
Not at the moment, but we are working on adding conditional display options in future versions.
How do I update the bot if I make changes in ChatNode?
Any changes made in your ChatNode dashboard are automatically reflected on your website. There’s no need to update anything in WordPress.
