This plugin adds an auto-hide feature to the WordPress Admin Bar that was introduced in WordPress 3.1.
Auto Hide Admin Bar makes the WordPress Toolbar disappear – and reappear when hovering the mouse pointer over the top of the browser window.
You end up with a clean view of your site, and keep having access to the WordPress Toolbar.

This plugin was recently adopted, what’s the plan?
No changes are planned for the end user. The plugin will remain backwards compatible.
A big code refactor was done. In Q2 2026 the minimum php version will be updated to 8.2.
There are no plans to extend the functionality. Feel free to ask in the support forum
