Hai Lam Dang (she/her) was born in Bao Loc, Vietnam, and moved to Germany in 2010. In 2019, she finished her Abitur at the Gymnasium Wilhelm-Raabe-Schule, Hanover. Currently, she’s a Game Design student at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences in Hamburg.
From September 2022 to December 2023, Hai Lam completed her internship at Garlic Game.
As an inspiring game developer, Hai Lam likes to spend time with games. Some of her favorite games are Path to Nowhere, Touhou Project, Xuan-Yuan Sword: The Gate of Firmament, Sword and Fairy 7, and TROUBLESHOOTER: Abandoned Children.
Besides playing games, Hai Lam likes to join and contribute to her favorite games’ communities. She regularly teams up with other Touhou fans to join the yearly Touhou Game Jam and its LGBTAQ+ celebration, Touhou Pride Game Jam. One significant achievement for her was to be able to contribute to the TROUBLESHOOTER server with many emotes, which Dandylion (the developer of the game) was amazed by.
