So the day_by_drabble April Showers Drabblethon has just ended, and here are my results. Got two in for R/T (not as many as I wanted), seven for The Dresden Files and one for Firefly. Pretty good IMHO, as I was trying very hard to get into a new fandom or two.

Author’s Notes: First off, this isn't written in the same POV as The Dresden Files, mainly, because those are case files and this is now. Secondly, this may make more sense after reading Summer Knight (which is one of my very favorites of the series), but it’s not absolutely necessary, there are no spoilers here, unless one very vague hint toward a discovery Harry makes in the latest book counts. Also: the acquisition of the Beetle probably didn’t come about this way in canon, but I like my version.

(Not a Good) Summary: 'Hell’s bells, if I wanted to play hide-and-seek all night, I would’ve stayed at work. At least there’s some form of compensation involved. And it’s likely I wouldn’t be trekking like Livingstone through a jungle of overdone Victorian décor that hasn’t been updated since…well. You get the idea.'

Author’s Note: This was supposed to be a birthday fic for my newest friend, the talented artist and just all-around awesome solochan, but I didn’t make the deadline, lol. This is embarrassingly late, and has taken about eighteen different incarnations on my laptop.
