Our Program
Child Aid works in rural, indigenous communities to increase child literacy by providing teachers with what they need to succeed.
Every child has a right to a quality education. This education is the foundation for lasting change. To read is to gain knowledge, to learn is to understand the world and how it works, and to imagine is to affect change.
This is a child’s right, and it all starts in the classroom.

One hundred percent of your donations directly support Child Aid literacy programs. All administrative and fundraising expenses are funded separately by our Board of Directors.
Child Aid partners with over 150 local public primary schools each year to provide literacy training and resources to rural, indigenous communities, primarily in the western highlands of central Guatemala.
