an update with a better quality image. This is a large 2×4 ft on canvas

In addition to these blog updates, which are tied to my twitter account, this site also has additional pages under the menu tab where I will be keeping archives of all my works. This website is a work-in-progress, not much in so far, so keep checking back for updates! Prints are available On most pieces shown and I Love doing commissions! Email me!
Here’s my latest completion, it will also be located on the ‘Illustrations’ page you can find by clicking on the ‘menu’ button above!
These brushes were left covered in dried acrylic paint for weeks. I Soaked them in Murphy’s oil soap (wood cleaner) for 24 hours, picked and scratched the paint off with a bobby pin fairly easily, rinsed with regular soap and luke-warm water And done!
Update March 27 2016:
Many have suggested to use olive oil or any kind of oil for that matter, which does work a little bit i guess…but none have worked as well as Murphy’s! It practically disolved the paint away. I was wondering if the soap would damage the bristles but My paintbrushes are still looking and working like new!
Also, one of those brushes had been covered with dry paint for about 5 years! I soaked that one for 48 hours (the middle brush on the pic on the bottom right) and ended up working like new as well!
I would not reccomend using this soap regularly on your brushes to clean them.
