where_no_woman is hosting a Trek-themed Femslash and Queergen Fic Exchange! I'm so looking forward to this. :D

To explain the term "queergen" a bit - where_no_woman is focused on female Trek characters of course. For this exchange the mods decided that in addition to femslash, they'd accept fic that is about any and all varieties of queer characters (the characters must be female in canon, though), but not necessarily about relationships. So we get to do all kinds of fun things with sexuality and gender: interpret characters as lesbian, or bisexual, or transsexual, or transgender, or genderqueer, or asexual (aces!), or questioning... Anything but straight + cis, which, if you want that, there are gajillions of other places to find it. I freaking *LOVE* how inclusive this ficfest is - can't wait to see what people come up with!
