My mom talked about some of my dads Vietnam experiences to me tonight. She told me when his base was blown up and the mess hall destroyed obviously they had no food. He came out when all seemed well and the first thing he saw was his Captain in pieces. Dead. There is an actual picture of my dad in the foxhole with the shell. I have I to find it. I will post it.
