Are you interested in becoming a Tiger Cheerleader? There will be an informational meeting on Monday April 3, 2023 in the cafeteria at Pickerington High School Central. If you will be or a current junior high student your meeting will be at 6:00pm. If you will be a high school student your meeting will be at 7:00pm. We highly encourage you and a parent attend even if you have made a team before. We will address new things, requirements, fundraising and more.

Monday March 6, 2023 7:00pm will be our ceremony to celebrate our Freshman, JV & Varsity football, basketball and competition cheer seasons. This will take place at Pickerington High School Central in the cafeteria. 

If you have pictures you would like to submit for the video please do so before February 20th to [email protected].

If you are a senior: please submit a (baby, school-age and senior photo) as well as any others from the season.

In October, we will have a fundraiser at Zapata's that will run the entire month of October on every Monday. Zapata's has a great food and they are a HUGE supporter of Tiger Cheerleading! Tell your teachers, co-workers, friends and family to go support tiger cheer all they need to do is show this flyer on their phone!


Lastly, Senior Night will take place on October 14th at Tiger Stadium before the game. Come out to the last home game in the ditch and support the class of 2023 cheerleaders, football players and band members as they will be recognized before the game.

School is starting right around the corner which means the cheer season is in full swing!

Teams have been selected for the 2022•2023 Cheerleading Season.
Please pick up your sealed envelope at PHSC today Wednesday 5/18/22 in the cafeteria High school at 3:00pm & Jr High 4:00pm. Siblings can pick up each other's envelopes.

We suggest not riding with friends just in case your results are not what you wanted. Remember, do not open envelopes on school property.

This year was extremely difficult, we had over 100 people interested in trying out this year, which is wonderful but not everyone can make a team. We appreciate all candidates efforts and do hope to see them next year at tryouts.

Due to final forms unable to update until after June 1st To be eligible to tryout you will need:
1. To  be enrolled as a student at PHSC or RJHS.
2.An updated OHSAA Physical, if your physical is still active from a previous sport please notify Coach Murphy that it's still current and we will check with the trainer.
3. Turn in a 2022-2023 Cheerleading Contract, we prefer paper copies.

Cheer Clinics begin SUNDAY May 15 5:00-7:00pm and Monday May 16th 5:00-7:00pm at PHSC Main Gym *Please arrive 10-15 minutes earlier to check in*

Cheer Tryouts Tuesday May 17th HS 4-6 JH 6-8pm
Competition will be directly after JH 8pm
Tryouts are quick as soon as your finished you will be asked to leave- please do not have your ride drop you off and come back. Coaches will be evaluating candidates.

Team selections May 18th 3pm room 111 (Pick up envelope & leave) Do not open on school property. Reminder that Coaches will not be available for conversation until one week after tryouts. This allows emotions to settle if you still have questions we will happily make an appointment with you to discuss selections of your OWN child.
If you make a team-May 19th Fittings (mandatory) 

This is your last week for the century resource fundraiser, packets will be due on Monday May 9th to Coach Blair in room 111 at PHSC or can be turned into Athletics at RJHS just please note  attn: to Coach B. Murphy.

If you missed last night's tryout meeting for cheer no worries. The packet we went over is available under the tab tryouts. Your student can also pick up a packet at Ridgeview Junior High or PHSC in the athletic office. Fundraising with Century Resources was introduced last night. We are selling cookie dough and sweets to help you cover costs for apparel & more. The fundraiser only runs for two weeks ending 5/9. Items will be in at the end of May. If for whatever reason you fundraise and do not make the team the money you earned will go back to the program. 

To be eligible to tryout you must:
1. Be academically passing 5 classes and have a g.p.a of 1.75 or higher.
2. Have a Final Forms account and all forms signed on the site.
3. Turn in a 2022-2023 updated OHSAA Physical.
4. Turn in a 2022-2023 Cheerleading Contract.
