Come Experience Jesus

Up in Worship
Love Expressed. We are committed to worship to glorify God and grow in our relationship with Him.

Out in Mission
Love Extended. We are committed to love as a commandment and seek to demonstrate Christ’s love through compassionate service to others.

Down in Discipleship
Love Experienced. We are committed to discipleship as a lifelong journey of growing in relationship with God and becoming more like Jesus. We seek to empower individuals to fulfill their God-given purpose within a supportive community.
Our Core Values
Love God, Love People
We believe every person is made in the image of God — and that this calls us to love God and love people. Motivated by Scripture and our love for Christ, we seek to meet the spiritual, emotional, and practical needs of our community through compassionate action and faithful obedience.
(Matthew 22:36-40 , 1 Corinthians 13:2, 1 John 4:12, 1 Peter 4:8, John 15:12, 1 Corinthians 13:13, Romans 12:10)
Rooted in the Bible
We are committed to the truth and authority of God’s Word. We study Scripture daily—seeking to understand it, hear from the Holy Spirit, and live it out. We affirm the EPC Essentials of Our Faith and the Westminster Confession (as modified by the EPC), holding to unity in essentials, liberty in non-essentials, and charity in all things.
(2 Timothy 3:16, Psalm 19:7-11, 2 John 1:9-11, John 1:1, Hebrews 4:12, Jeremiah 15:16)
Wholly Reliant on God
We believe that prayer should come before, during, and after everything we do. We are a Christ-centered church committed to humbly seeking God’s will through prayer, knowing we are imperfect people dependent on His grace. Our desire is that every ministry, message, and act of service would point to His glory—not ours—so that Jesus is honored in all things.
(Philippians 4:6-7, Psalm 55:22, Joshua 6, 1 Peter 5:7)
Building Community
We are a community of believers who grow together through worship, sacraments, and meaningful relationships. We strive to make a big church feel small by offering a variety of ways to connect, build authentic community, and deepen your faith. This commitment extends beyond our walls as we serve and engage our local community with the love of Jesus.
(1 Thessalonians 2:8; Matthew 18:20, Acts 2:42-47, Psalm 55: 13-14, 1 John 1:17, Proverbs 27:17, Hebrews 10: 24-25)
Invitational
We find joy in inviting everyone to experience the love of Jesus—whether that’s in a worship service, a small group, or around the table at home. Our invitation goes beyond the walls of the church building. We open our homes and our lives so that others can encounter authentic Christian community and come to know Jesus as their Savior.
(John 1:39-41, 1 Thessalonians 2:8, Matthew 4:18-20, Romans 10:14, Matthew 9:9-12)
Inter-Generational
We believe every person—regardless of age—has a God-given role in the body of Christ. Our heart is to reach and pastor all generations, knowing that we belong to Jesus and, through Him, to one another as a spiritual family.
(Psalm 145:4-7, Ephesians 5:18-21, Colossians 3:16, Mark 10:14, 1 Timothy 5:1-2, 1 Peter 5:5, Acts 2:17/ Joel 2:28, 1 Peter 5:3, 2 Timothy 1:5, 1 Timothy 4:12, 1 Corinthians 12:12-27)
Excellence for the Glory of God
We believe God’s creativity and perfection are reflected in His creation—and we are called to steward our gifts, talents, and resources with excellence. Through our ministry programming and campus facilities, we strive to reflect His glory by offering a Christ-centered, welcoming environment that honors Him in both beauty and purpose. Our desire is to use what He has entrusted to us for Kingdom impact, demonstrating excellence in all we do as an act of worship.
(1 Corinthians 10:31, Colossians 3:23, Daniel 1:20, Daniel 6:3, Philippians 4:8, 1 Corinthians 9:24-25, Matthew 5:14-16, Mark 7:36-37)
What We Believe
The Bible
At Cherry Hills Community Church, we believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God—our final and supreme guide in all matters of faith and life. The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, uniquely and fully inspired by the Holy Spirit, form a unified and complete witness to God’s redemptive work, culminating in the incarnation of the Living Word, Jesus Christ.
All Scripture is self-attesting and, as divine Truth, calls for our full submission in every area of life. On this foundation, we affirm the EPC Essentials of Our Faith, standing firmly on God’s Word as the cornerstone of our beliefs and practices.
One God
At Cherry Hills Community Church, we believe in one sovereign God—the Creator and Sustainer of all things—who is infinitely perfect and eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This triune God is the foundation of our faith, worthy of all honor, glory, and praise forever. As a Christ-centered, Bible-based church, we joyfully worship and serve the One true God who reveals Himself through Scripture and calls us into relationship with Him.
Jesus Christ
At Cherry Hills Community Church, we believe in Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God and the Living Word, who became fully human through His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit and virgin birth. As fully God and fully man, united in one person forever, Jesus lived a sinless life and willingly died on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for our sins, in accordance with the Scriptures. On the third day, He rose bodily from the dead, conquering sin and death.
He ascended into heaven and now reigns at the right hand of the Father as our exalted High Priest, Mediator, and Advocate, interceding on our behalf and preparing a place for His people.
The Holy Spirit
At Cherry Hills Community Church, we believe the Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus Christ and applies His saving work to our hearts. The Spirit convicts us of sin, draws us to the Savior, and gives us new life. As the indwelling presence of God, the Holy Spirit empowers believers, imparts spiritual gifts for ministry and service, and seals us for the day of redemption. Through the Holy Spirit, we are equipped to live Christ-centered lives and grow in faith.
Salvation
At Cherry Hills Community Church, we believe that salvation is entirely dependent on God’s free grace. Because of our sinful nature and separation from God, we stand condemned apart from Christ. But by grace, through faith in Jesus alone, God justifies us—crediting His righteousness to all who trust in Him for salvation.
Only those who are born of the Holy Spirit and receive Jesus Christ as Savior become children of God and heirs of eternal life. This is the foundation of our Christ-centered, Bible-based faith and the hope we proclaim.
The Church
At Cherry Hills Community Church, we believe the true Church is the global body of all believers who, through saving faith in Jesus Christ and the sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit, are united as one in Christ. This body finds its visible—though imperfect—expression in local congregations where the Word of God is faithfully preached, the sacraments are rightly administered, scriptural discipline is practiced, and loving Christian community is nurtured.
As a Christ-centered, Bible-based church, we joyfully await the return of our Lord Jesus, who will perfect His Church and complete His redemptive work.
The Return of Christ
At Cherry Hills Community Church, we believe that Jesus Christ will return personally, visibly, and bodily to earth—just as promised in Scripture. He will come again to judge the living and the dead, and to bring final fulfillment to God’s eternal redemptive plan. This hope is central to our Christ-centered, Bible-based faith, and we live in joyful anticipation of His return.
Even so, “Come, Lord Jesus.” (Revelation 22:20, NASB)
The Great Commission
At Cherry Hills Community Church, we believe that Jesus Christ has commissioned every believer to proclaim the Gospel and make disciples of all nations. Obedience to the Great Commission requires wholehearted commitment to the One who “loved us and gave Himself for us” (Ephesians 5:2). We are called to a life of Christ-centered, self-denying love and service, empowered by the Holy Spirit and grounded in God’s Word.
As His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works (Ephesians 2:10), we joyfully step into the mission of spreading the hope of salvation and living out the Gospel in every sphere of life—for the glory of God and the good of others.
