Hello! I’m Aimee, and my journey with the Chatterbox family has been a deeply personal one. Over the past several years, I’ve had the privilege of growing within this community—from my early days as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant in our Chatter Academy to my time as a graduate student, and now, as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. This evolution has only strengthened my passion for the special populations we serve and my commitment to their growth. I am particularly driven by the transformative power of AAC and Gestalt Language Processing, which I love to integrate with Executive Functioning skills to help our clients navigate their worlds with confidence. To me, being a member of the Chatterbox team means more than just providing therapy; it’s about advocating for every individual’s unique voice and ensuring that our community remains a place where every person is truly seen, heard, and supported.

I joined this community bringing previous clinical experience and a deep-rooted passion for helping children find confidence and independence in their daily lives. My clinical focus is centered on feeding therapy and Gestalt Language Processing (GLP), as I believe that building a positive relationship with food and honoring unique communication styles are the foundations for a child’s growth. For me, working with this community is about more than just clinical goals; it’s about building trust, celebrating every milestone, and providing the specialized support that our families deserve. I’m dedicated to ensuring that every child I work with feels empowered to self-advocate and is truly heard in their own unique voice. I value making a positive impact and building strong relationships with the children and families I work with.
